Las Olitas Cantina & Grill

Talked my travelling companion into getting up and leaving some depressing diner looking place that we originally went into down the pier, and we were both glad we did.Instead we walked into Olitas. There we found good drinks, good food, a visually pleasing but still casual dining room, and a professional friendly staff.They weren't particularly busy at the time, so I can't speak to how they handle a big rush, but our experience was top shelf all the way.If I were a local I'd probably be a regular.

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this great place. I am glad to say that it was a terrific evening and the restaurant was no doubt one of the reasons for this fruitful meeting. The stuff participated in a pleasant manner, the cuisine was appetizing and my guests were extremely cheerful. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Blue corn tamales were the best I've *ever* had in a sit-down restaurant!
