Great place to have a drink and relax. Quiet atmosphere with a diverse crowd. My only issue with the place was that when I visited the bartenders were SO incredibly slow. We sat at the center of the bar, it wasn't particularly busy, and it took 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Aside from the very long wait for all our drinks it was a relaxing LGBTQ+ friendly place to have a drink.

A pub that's not pretentious in DC!

I don't think I could find something negative to say about this place if I tried. Staff are very friendly, the location is perfect and the patio is a wonderful place to sit and people watch in a bustling neighborhood, weather permitting. Sitting at the bar is also cozy and affords a great view of the outside. Drink pours aren't skimpy and even after visiting only once or twice you feel like a regular.

Thank you, Larry's Lounge and patrons for being so welcoming. I only knew what I read in Google reviews. The bar lived up to its ratings. I wanted a casual bar with a patio, reasonably priced drinks, and dogs (I had been away from min for 4 days). Larry's Lounge had all of that. It is a true neighborhood bar with regulars who embrace newcomers. If this bar was within walking distance in my Arkansas neighborhood, I would be a regular.

Bartender on Monday night (5/8) sucks, he was more interested in the movie playing on T.V. than taking our orders. He called last call around 1:00 even though the place closes at 2, but continued to serve a gentleman next to us until 1:30. He didn’t care for our orders at all. First time being here with friends and the place was not inviting due to bartender. He seemed more interested in the regulars than other people int the bar, missed opportunity for potential regulars. Negative 10 out of 10 for this place, customers are more friendly than the staff!
