Larkin's On The River

Everything was superb! Impeccable dinner menu wine and cocktail options. Great for special occasions, date night, or whenever you are craving excellent steak. I ordered the She Crab Soup to start.... absolutely delicious, and Steak Au Poivre for my main course. It's a very large cut, not good for someone with a small appetite like me. However, it was perfectly seasoned and went well with the accompaniments. My husband ordered the Grilled Elk Tenderloin cooked medium. It was excellent in every way. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

My experience here was 10/10. Our server was Bryan and he was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The cocktails we ordered were amazing, and the steak we ordered (came out faster than we anticipated!) was the cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the lobster Mac n cheese. Thank you Larkins Team for a great dining experience!

Absolutely Fabulous! We were pushed for time to get to the Peace Center for Aladdin. The service was amazingly accommodating. The food was delicious and the she crab soup is definitely the best I have ever had!

Absolutely delicious food! I have dined here twice before and am also having my wedding here! I cannot wait! The service this far has been impeccable and I'm so excited for the menu for my wedding! I hope others enjoy it as much as I do!!

We were in town for our 36th wedding anniversary and chose Larkin's for our special dinner. We were welcomed with a card and complimentary glasses of champagne. Our server, Maureen, was exceptional! She did a fabulous job of making us Caesar salads table side. She knew just when to check on us to make sure we were pleased with every course. We were able to enjoy a few glasses of wine because of Larkin's choices in pour sizes! Our lamb chops were seasoned and cooked to perfection. So scrumptious! At the end of the meal we were surprised with complimentary cheesecake with Happy Anniversary piped in chocolate around the edge of the plate. Cheesecake is not my husband's favorite; however, he ate more than me! Such a wonderful experience celebrating at Larkin's! An anniversary meal we will talk about for years as Larkin's truly went out of their way to make our day so special!

We really enjoyed Larkins. We were visiting Greenville for the first time. My girls loved the table side Caesar. Steaks were amazing and so was wine list.

Food was great. Service goodIt got a little cold and I asked to turn on the heat. The shutters came down later which made it comfortable

Very nice restaurant in fantastic location. Service was excellent. Nice bar area. The she crab soup is a must try item. You cannot go wrong with any of the steak and lobster dishes. The hot crab and shrimp with fried pita chips are amazing! The Wine and and beer list are extensive. The only thing, however minor, that could be improved upon is the garlic mashed potatoes and overall potato dishes are needing a little something. The French press coffee is excellent as well.

5 stars for ambiance and service. 4 stars because we were still hungry when we left. For a $50 plate you expect more than a small salad and very small piece of steak. The wine list was impressive and the view was fabulous!

This place has depth and versatility. I've been for lunch, dinner, and drinks - I've enjoyed myself in all 3 circumstances. It's rare a place fires on all cylinders like this place...whether it's a salmon salad lunch, a steak dinner, or a cocktail for happy hour in suspect you won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere for downtown dining! Food is excellent and service was outstanding! I had the grilled pork chop with fried brussel sprouts and collard greens. Wow! Pork chop was one of the best I've had and the portions more than I could eat! My Lemondroptini was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. For dessert I highly recommend the key lime pie! The crust was made with graham crackers and coconut and the flavor of the pie was perfect. There are a lot of gluten free dishes on the menu which was really nice! I highly recommend Larkin's!

Had a fantastic experience at Larkin's! The roasted lamb was very good and I had the best mac n cheese of my life!! Great atmosphere, our server was very attentive and she made sure we were finished in plenty of time to get to our show at the Peace Center. Highly recommend for an upscale date night or company dinner.

We went to Larkin's last night for dinner. The location is very beautiful and romantic. Our waitress was WONDERFUL! I wish I remembered her name because I would definitely shout her out. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt my pork chop didn't have a taste to it. I didn't taste any seasoning, it was very bland. The collared greens were full of flavor but over cook and the sherry mushrooms had to much flavor going on. Other than that everything else was real good. I would still recommend Larkin's because that's an easy fix and probably doesn't happen often. In fact we're going back soon!
