Lao Sze Chuan

My friend and I stumbled onto this place while exploring Chinatown and I must say, it was a delicious find. When we walked in, we were sat right away and brought some spicy cabbage (very spicy and delicious) along with hot tea. Such a great introduction! We had many waiters throughout our dinner but our order was taken promptly and every question was answered very clearly for us. Being new to the cuisine, we definitely had a lot of questions for many of our orders. The food came at a great flow and as we were finishing up one thing, they’d bring another piece of our meal....which we appreciated, since our food was still hot when we got to it. The dumplings and fried shrimp were amazing. The rice and peas had a unique but flavorful taste. I really enjoyed the shrimp fried rice, definitely will order again. The fish was the definite star of our meal though, it was so flavorful and went great with everything. I’d recommend this place to all of the food lovers out there.
