Lao Pot

I have been coming here since they opened years ago, and the service is TRASH. It was never great, but now I refuse to spend money here or recommend it. While paying the bill, the waitress looked at the money we already had on the table and demanded we pay a bigger tip. Mind you, I still had money in my hand and was planning to give at least 20%, even with the rude service. I was honestly shocked. Even when speaking with a manager, he didn’t seem to care. This was a regular spot for me and my friends, but moving forward, I will be taking my money elsewhere. .

Amazing prices for the serving sizes and the free lobster after spending $100 was a nice surprise! Our server Yan was the best!

The server was super cute! She helped explain everything. She even made us the sauce! The food was good but the prices were too much for the little portion size though. I would come back more often if the prices were lower. Edit: Kpot is the competition now and have all you can eat option. Will only come back if Lao Pot goes all you can eat. Edit: Came back after all you can eat was available. I must say, I was very disappointed in the quality of food. The broth was extremely watery. The sauce station barely had any good options to choose from. Very small portion size for all the orders. It took forever to bring out a couple of items. Overall, not happy with the experience.

My waitress brought the bill 20 minutes after I started eating. It's a big No. Don't bring the bill until a customer done with their meal. After she brought the bill 20 minutes in, she came back twice to see if I put my card in there. I finally told her that I will pay when I'm done eating. it's like they want to hurry you up and get you out of there. Also, the food wasn't worth $33. Spicy beef tasted like not beef. Then around 10.53pm, there were another couple and I were still eating and they turned off the light. The hours say they open till 11pm. 11 pm should mean 11pm. Not 10.53 while people were still eating paying big money. I will never visit this location. First and last time there.

The food is very fresh and the price is reasonable. There are many choices for all you can eat, and the boss is very nice. I recommend fresh handmade ball platter

My son and I went here on a field trip with his Mandarin class in late October. I've been there times since. The food is simply amazing! I've had several of the broths. I highly recommend the beef tallow. I also like the Lao Pot special. The mushroom is not appealing to my tastes. I do recommend the all-you-can-eat option, but if ordering a la carte the veggie and mushroom samplers are the way to go. Don't forget the condiments bar!!! Mixing everything hot sauces with the peanut sauce is the ultimate add on to your soup. The staff are still working out the kinks in service, but it will come. I highly recommend this place and it's fast becoming one of my top favorite restaurants.

Service was a lil slow to start but once we ordered the waitress was attentive. If you're not a chopstick guru, you might want to sneak a fork in or be embarrassed when you ask for one😉 It's nice that you can pick your dipping sauces budget style.

Tried Lao Pot for the first time today and had a great experience! They were super helpful in teaching us the techniques. We were even given a conplimentary sample of their new bbq! This is not just a dinner but a journey.

Food was great, the broth was very flavorful. I will say don't bring a group, keep it a 1 to 3 people thing. Because while it's good, it's not 340.00 dollars good! I'm still clueless to how it costed so much. Also tip is included with price for parties of 6 and got a 50 dollar tip, then the guy was like you can leave more tip? That's what he said! So a 50 dollar tip isn't good enough? If it's me and my husband I would definitely eat here again, but I'll never bring a group ever again. Also this was a birthday dinner, which the next day we all went to Texas road house and only spent 180.00 dollars for 9 people. Compared to 340.00 for 6 people. I feel ripped off!

I was nervous to try a new place like this, but I’m happy I did. I had great food, a great time, everything was fresh, and the place was clean. My waitress was a woman named Yan, she was super friendly, attentive, and refilled our broth multiple times without asking.

Food is really good and the service is amazing! High quality meat and great sides and drinks. Highly recommend for social gatherings and dinner in general!

The food was good but some of the staff was too pushy and demanded a tip at the end. I’ve been here several times and always time but to demand a tip from me before I’m even done eating was crazy
