Excellent scene for chinese food. Looking forward to a return trip. The place has a nice atmosphere. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.

Pork Shu Mai, shrimp dumplings and pork egg roll pictured here. The egg roll was phenomenal; thick and crunchy. Shu Mai is a favorite of mine and this place definitely satisfied my craving. There’s another place in South Sac called ABC Market and their dim sum is comparable, but I think I prefer Lam Kwong. I love the local, downtown vibe of this place because downtown Sacramento is a special place, and it’s because of places like this that give it all it’s charm. Amazing eatery for locals and vagabonds alike.

CASH ONLY! Great hole-in-the-wall mom/pop market with ready to serve hot Chinese foods and baked goods. Highly recommend their Pork Baos and Sesame balls. Also, staff is super nice.

Delicious dim sum but it can sell out fast

Nice, quaint, deli. Easy to get to off of highway 80. Good pork buns and fried chicken. Very friendly owners.
