Lago Wine Bar

Drinks were nice. The wine and service was good as well. It's Lakeview so expect it not to be economical as such. But, the food was a bit problematic. I ordered market fish (salmon) and I suspect the fish was not fresh leading to intense stomach cramps that night. Maybe avoid fish?

Great wine, food and ambiance! My only complaint is that we were seated a half hour after our reservation time. We were a party of 6 and there wasn't much time to stand while we waited for our table.

This place is a hidden gem, but have a reservation or AVOID IF CUBS ARE HOME. I repeat, avoid the entire neighborhood on Cubs home games. As for this place on a regular night though: The cocktails are excellent! I would recommend trying at least the spinach and the gnocchi. A girlfriend and I split 3-4 dishes and were happy (we got dessert down the street at the bakery too).

If I could eat here every day and not gain weight, I would. I often come here alone to smash their gnocchi and have a glass of wine. It's the best gnocchi I've ever had and the portion is perfect! The bartenders are always tentative and get my order in and serve me in a timely manner. I love the atmosphere and their selection of wine.

One of the first places I visited after moving to Chicago. The food is fantastic & has a great bottle & by the glass wine selection. The manager Ari is very knowledgeable and will be sure that Figo Wine Bar leaves a memorable impression.

The food was good, the place is really cute, but they did get my order and bill wrong. I hope this serves more as a help for management because the place has great potential. I would visit again.

Great food, but pretty expensive as the shared plates are all very small. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts, and the arancini and risotto are also amazing.

Great little place! Great for a date night or spending time with friends. Food was so good! Gnocchi in the pesto sauce was my favorite! The atmosphere is very cute! We will be back!

Upon sitting down for our Valentine’s Day dinner reservation, we were greeted with friendly service, a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and fresh bread. Everything was incredible, especially the brussels sprouts, and we ended the meal with a complimentary dessert. Would highly recommend for a romantic date night and we can’t wait to try the rooftop in the summer - will definitely be back!

Cozy and inviting neighborhood spot. Delicious food. Great selection of wine and cocktails. Friendly staff. Been there more than a couple times now, never disappointed. Perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. Go try it.

Pretty horrific experience and food.We’ve been here a few months ago and the experience was pretty horrible. Service was fine, but the food, especially the mushroom flat bread was pretty horrible, it was mostly salt and not much of anything else (very salty) and came with a dirty (greasy) plate. Wine was just fine, pretty expensive for the quality, but the worst part was that it came in dirty glasses. Tap water tasted like plastic at first, then they changed it and it was fine. Definitely not coming back.

I really want to give Figo 3.5 stars, and I wish I could rate it higher, but the food really didn't impress anyone in our party. It was okay, but we needed to add salt to almost everything to bring the flavors out.Otherwise, the service, drinks and ambience were great! I'd come back for some wine and snacks, but until they enhance their flavors, I don't think I'll be back for dinner.

Honestly a wonderful spot -- great ambiance and wonderful drinks. Had a really negative experience with booking a private space though. We reserved the room for a birthday party starting at 9pm, and a group who had reserved the space from 6 to 8 was still in the space at 10:15pm. Our group of 40 had to wait crammed into the corner of the bar, while another group continued to use the space that we had decorated earlier in the day for the birthday party. Management did next to nothing -- who's running the show over there? Don't reserve a private space, 0 guarantee it'll actually be reserved.

Great little restaurant. Good ambiance. Servers are friendly. They offer complimentary bread. Yelp currently offers a free appetizer. We got the arancini balls. They were alright. Crunchy but expected it to be more cheesy and gooey. Then we ordered the funghi bruschetta! They loaded it with mushrooms, my fav! My friend thought it was a bit too oily. Lastly we ordered the pesto gnocchi. It was delicious. Flavors were great. All in all, the food was good. The service was alright. I asked for hot water and got warm tap water. We asked multiple people for a pen to sign our check but no one gave us a pen. I ended up going to their desk and got a pen myself.
