La Fontana Della Citta

I was a little disappointed. We went for restaurant week with a huge party. I know they were busy but they should have prepared better knowing that they were going to be busy IMO. The food was tasty though!

Great meal. The appetizers were fantastic I sampled 4 different desserts. NY cheesecake/ Tartufo / Taramisu/ Canolli were all awesome.

Great food but could not found the dish I had here a year ago during my family wedding

A rather Americanized version of Italian food, not horrible but not exceedingly tasty either. The location of the restaurant is prime and the look is enticing, but the food does not live up to the expectations that entails.

Place is ok. Nothing to brag about. Food is unfortunately mediocre. There is a better Italian place we like not too far away, near the park.

The dining room is not fancy, but the food and service are always good. I had the veal special, which consisted of three good sized cutlets topped with shrimp, peppers in a Marsala mushroom sauce. My only quibble, was I prefer more exotic and flavorful mushrooms, like Porcini or Chanterelle. Otherwise, a good meal and value.

Very hearty pasta dishes served INCREDIBLY fast. This is a great, cozy, local place to tuck into some comforting Italian food. The prices are not on the low end, and a bit higher than I would expect for the setting, but this might be because I am immensely cheap and unaccustomed to eating out frequently.

Food was amazing as was our waiter, Elvis.

I walk by this place always from work, and finally went for dinner, it was great great experience.Callamari was phenomonal, and I had to order gnochi to go becasue It was so so so so good.Going back soon

Great place, great atmosphere. I had home made gnocchi gorgonzola and it was the best I ever had. Thank you for amazing time.

I was on a business trip to Philly last week and while walking around Rittenhouse square I stumbled upon la Fontana and decided to give it a try. I am gonna say that I was really happy with the service and the food. The servers paid a lot of attention to me while also not being over my head. The lamb chops dish was really delicious and was cooked to my liking. Compliments to the chef and will definitely return again hopefully with some company.

I have been to this restaurant countless times with friends. Friendly staff, BYOB, great atmosphere and delicious food. Gnocchi gorgonzola and penne vodka are a must off the menu.

Can't say enough for this family owned and operated restaurant. Great staff, and the best food I ever had. Went there on date and can't wait to go back with my family.Don't forget to bring your wine. It's BYOB

They serve large dishes and for affordable rates. friendly staff. They never disappoint.

I’m from out of town, and I was driving with my boyfriend around the city. We passed by the 17th street and we saw this beautiful, trees with lights - corner restaurant and I immediately went to check online the reviews. They weren’t great, but we thought to give it a try. We didn’t know it was byob, but the hostess let us know, we went to get a bootle of wine and we set outside. We couldn’t miss that beautiful scenario. The food was great! Gnocchi gorgonzola the best thing to get as appetizer. Service was great, a bit quick, but great. We’ll come back, it’s a bit far, but we’ll try the shore locations as well. A+
