Lady M Cake Boutique

This is by far my favorite pastry place EVERRRR!A friend of mine told me about this place and has been insisting I bring back some of these slices to Long Island for me to share with her.So the security guard asked if I’m here for take out or dine in and guided me into the queue on the left as I was there for take out. They had this tub like thing with boiling water in it in which they soaked their knives to avoid mixed flavors when these cakes/crepes are sliced. Something I found interesting. Fascinated by how many layers of crepe were stacked so beautifully. I cannot say enough about how delicious these pastries are! We tried the Signature Mille Crepe and the Green Tea Mille Crepe and it was AMAZING! Worth every hefty-penny! Definitely coming back!

This location is super convenient. The crepe cakes are all amazing!! I’d have to say the most impressive flavors are the original milk one and the green tea. There’s sometimes a line outside which is for seating. The staff does a great job at coming out to ensure that customers who are coming to buy take out cake don’t waste time waiting in the seating line. Kudos for that!

The crepe cakes are very unique but range from average in taste to excellent. It’s 3.5 stars for me because with prices of about $12 a slice, I expect it to be great every time, when in fact, they’re sometimes ok but sometimes terrific. So far, I’ve really enjoyed their citrus crepe cake which is seasonal and the champagne crepe cake and is totally worth the money. The others are meh. Very nice spot for tourists though and I would recommend coming to try at least once.

They make the most amazing crepes in all of NYC. It's just that delicious and if you haven't tried their crepes, make sure you try it out for yourself. Just don't take my word for it.

The crepe cake is the thing to order and the Matcha Green Tea is the standout. There will be lines. And service is snooty and stuffy. Get it to go and avoid the line.

Such an expensive place, long lines (artificially created ones by just assigning one staff member for packing cakes while there are so many others, not sure what the rest are busy with) and this has happened so many times now where they dont put a tape when closing the box.. the lid keeps opening up all the time on the way home..such a small thing that any bakery on the planet would do i.e. closing a cake box with a tape.You have to make it a point to ask for the tape to close the box every single time else they wouldnt.. shouldnt there be that minimum common sense for an expensive place like this?!?!!

Came for some seasonal cakeBerry Mont Blanc tart: berry mousse whipped cream, creams d'amandes. Not too sweet, the berry mousse is smooth and creamy with little sourness. Balance pretty well with the bottom crust.Rose latte: it looks pretty so I ordered it lol. I usually not a fan of rose drink, because they taste super artificial. But this one I like it. It's more like rose milk to me. And not too strong of the rose. Should be pretty tasty with iced I guess:)I also saw pistachio flavor of Mille crepe. Never try it before. Should come back soon for that!

Came here at 7pm on a Saturday. There is a waiting are inside but the security guard tells you that you have to stand outside. This is because they don’t want people standing indoors and crowding, but there was no one inside waiting. We were the only ones. Surely 2 people standing indoors wouldn’t make it automatically crowded. He made us wait for 15 minutes outside when there was clearly an available table. That put a very bad taste in our mouths. I asked if we could stand inside and see what we want to order and the guard said that if we did that then we wouldnt be first in cue for a table. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT!!!?!?!?! For a place that charges $7-$8 per slice you would expect better service. The cakes themselves are good and tastes like its made with quality ingredients which saves this review. The rest of the staff is nice and attentive. Good place to drink tea/coffee and relax even though the seating is very tight and crammed.

Listen I understand that lady M has fantastic cakes but this review is on principle and not on the cake itself. If the business wants to stop people from entering before the close time advertised they need to change the hours.. they closed 10 minutes early!! and refused to let us in. I get it if they don’t care but then the management needs to change the business hours.

Finally tried the famous Lady M mille crepe. Best soft taste. Cream is not as sweet as I thought which I love about.

This review is over due. I purchased two crepe cakes ( one original and one matcha ) from this location before the stay at home order. Juan at the store was the nicest and friendliest person I have met. He was knowledgeable about the cakes as well. I saved half of my cakes in the freezer and they were totally fine a week later. Can’t wait to go back and get more cakes. I am really craving for some now

The cakes at Lady M were interesting to watch and were delicious too. Tried their crepe cake which was light, less sweet and was such a delight to have. Also had their flan cake slice which was also good. The crepe cake should be consumed within few hours otherwise it starts flattening up but the other normal cakes last for couple of hours as I brought them home and they tasted fine after some time too. They keep changing their cakes and different flavors are available at different times. Service was also friendly, the server explained about he various cakes to us and helped us to decide on the order. The place though small was very organized and had some seating too.

An elegant place. The cake was good but not great. Service was good. For $14 for a piece of cake and some Seltzer, it should have been excellent.

I almost tried everything of Lady M, and the green tea crepes are my favorite. It's a nice place to grab some dessert after a long day shopping.
