Lady Camellia Pastry and Tea Room

A lovely tea party and tea service. I was with a party of 5 and really enjoyed the food and tea. They thoughtfully confirmed that none of us has dietary restrictions before serving. The atmosphere is lovely and I really enjoyed sitting in the window seat!

Great concept and great treats, wonderful place minus a few small things. First of all, you need a reservation and it isn’t that cheap but that’s pretty obvious. The pastries and tea themselves are wonderful and delicious. They have cute place settings and lovely classical music. The caveat is that it’s quite small inside so, anyone being loud aka any group larger than two or three is going to make it kind of hard to hear and enjoy a classy experience. Still had a wonderful time with my mom.

One of my favorite places. Charming atmosphere with lots of tasty treats and tea. The menu doesn't change much, but what they have is good. Be sure to get a reservation as far in advance as you can.

Wé had a large group. Everything was set up nicely. The staff was very accommodating. It was a great celebration. The teas, sandwiches and pastries were plentiful and great.

This place is amazing, when I come there, I always remember my vacation to Nice. This place is so French for me! I enjoyed my tea and freshly baked croissant.

Fun but noisy. For such a small place, the customers just talk too loud. The place would benefit greatly from some indoor sound dampening. The sandwiches might be the best part. While the teas are great, they do seem overpriced. The macaroons don't seem to be much different from anywhere else. It would be 3 stars if they didn't sell out of their Apple croissants and if they didn't mess up our orders twice

Good hosts. Good options in menu. Good quality fresh scones and pastries. Good tea. We liked every single part of their cafe and service.

I love this place! Tea parties all grown up! The food was delicious and the tea was perfect! It's a pretty small place so spots are limited. Call in advance to book your appointment because they go up quick! It was nicely decorated and comfortable. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Afternoon tea options are few and far between in DC, Lady Camellia is an awesome option that isn’t a hotel. The chicken sandwiches were delicious, the cucumber sandwiches were tasty as well. All the sweets went perfectly with all 5 different teas that we ordered also. Cozy place, probably a total of 20 people can fit in the room.

I’ve been here twice for birthday celebrations. Making a reservation is easy you can do it online but make sure you do it ahead of time. Their cucumber & smoked salmon sandwiches are delicious. Their scones and macaroons are great as well. They have a wide selections of teas and their china is super cute. Definitely recommend!

The service, the food, the decor were all absolutely stunning. I cannot wait to go back again. My friend and I ordered Tea for Two which came with a a variety of pastries and sandwiches and each of us was afforded a pot of tea.

Such a lovely experience. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The tea, Darjeeling in my case, was fantastic. The sandwiches, rather than tiny "tea" sandwiches I expected, were closer to half sandwich size, and really excellent. I have to say the best part of an incredible experience was the white chocolate cranberry scone. Light, airy, crisp, lightly sweet, truly extraordinary. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in the area. The only small complaint I have is that the space is quite small, but that did not hurt my experience.

Cute place, the food was excellent but the service and ambiance just adequate.The scones were warm, the sandwiches fresh. Our favorites were the apple and Brie, the egg salad and the grilled cheese.They have a good tea selection, but only a couple are organic.I would go again for sure. The reservation system online is archaic, you have to wait for them to call you back. There are 6 tables in then whole place. Plan for 90 mins if you are in a party of two or 2 hours if more.The bathroom was not clean, it needed major cleaning and upkeep.
