La Trattoria Italian Restaurant

Up here visiting from Florida and this was one of the best meals I’ve EVER had in my LIFE!! Ribeye steak was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! Service was excellent and our server Katie made the entire experience that much better!!! I HIGHLY recommend ANYONE that lives in or visits the area to try this restaurant. Thank you La Trattoria!!! Can’t wait to come back!!

The food is absolutely amazing! It ruined all other Italian restaurants for me.

Got there at 4:45. Ron our waiter was horrible. He doesn't drink wine and couldn't help. Didn't ask anyone else to help us. I asked if marinara came with the cheese bread and he was quick to say NO. Didn't ask if we wanted to pay extra for it. Asked for extra onion on salad and didn't get any. I asked for a cup of decafe coffee and asked for cream and sugar. I looked at him and said I guess I'll use my knife to stir and I did just that. No sugar in the caddy only artificial. No refills for coffee. The food was good. No complaints there. It will be a long long time before we go back. There was only 1 other table and he wasn't their server.

the most amazing filet I have EVER had!

This is hands down the best place to eat in the greenwood area. Awesome food at a great price. Drinks that you can actually taste the alcohol. The wait staff is phenomenal. If you haven't been here yet, what are you doing with your life?

My favorite place for a steak. Always treated with fast and friendly service. End the meal with tiramisu and a cup of coffee.

Service is good. I had higher expectations. Too expensive when comparing food taste and quality. Alfredo sauce was too watery. Had to add salt for some taste.

This is our second terrible visit to this establishment. Everything was fine up to the point where we received our salads. There were three of us dining. 2 of us had house salads and one of us had a ceasar. Both people that had the house salads noticed that something tasted like something in the salad had a chemical taste. As we dissected the salad we noticed that the cheese is what had that flavor. We asked the server to take them back, which she did. She then came back to the table to argue with us and tell us that it did not have a chemical flavor...we did not argue, as we were I shock that they came back to argue. We finished our meal with no apologies from management or any offers to replace the salad. We will just continue to go to Vito Provolone. The food is always better there anyway.

Food and service is excellent. We have never recieved a bad meal here.

Tried La Trattoria after hearing great things about it and I have to say we were both disappointed. At this price point I expected better service and better food. The waitress was ok but the hostess didn’t bother looking up from her phone as we left. There was quite a bit of lag time between courses for a Wednesday night with only a few tables seated. We both ordered steak filets medium rare. It had to be one of the toughest filets I’ve ever had. I struggled to cut it. It lacked flavor as well. I have no problem paying more for steak but the quality and price did not match up. The Alfredo was good but not the best I’ve had. Same with the bread a oil and mushroom appetizer. My son ordered a pasta dish and he enjoyed his. I wish I would’ve stuck to pasta myself. I don’t think we will be back with other restaurant options that have better quality food at the same or lower price point.

By far my favorite Italian restaurant. Their portables mushroom appetizer is fantastic and they even serve my favorite wine. The ambiance is delightful and the service is always spectacular. I’ve never had a bad experience or poor food quality. Everything is delicious, which leaves me always willing to try something new.

Went for a birthday celebration. Enjoyable establishment. Friendly staff. Great Italian Sausage Pasta.

Great decor. Great food. Great service. Great server, McKenzie. Best ravioli around. Look forward to our next visit.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. Very busy, but worth the wait.
