The food came out quick and delicious. The man running the place was super friendly and helped us pick out a good meal. The portions were very generous, food was flavorful. Overall thumbs up from meðŸ‘ðŸ¼

Nice place, food was good, service a bit slow, but ok. Will be back for sure.

Wow! What a great experience. Felt like I was in Italy. Doesn't matter what you order. It was all excellent.

Friendly, family-like North End Italian. Delicious food, nice staff. A casual, popular eatery.

Wonderful old school kind of Italian place. Homemade everything but particularly the pasta. Heavy but delicious sauces. Decent wine choice and superb service and hospitality. Highly recommend reservations as it's quite small.

Great find. Like having dinner with an old friend and this was our first time there. Barbara came over to our table make sure everything was to our liking. It was even better than that. One of the best values in town. Wonderful experience, great restaurant and great food.

A few steps off the beaten track we found this haven of Italian cooking. We went through a pretty, flower-decked entrance into a simple and comfortable dining room. On choosing the food, the staff advised us if we were going for too much and were happy for us to share a dish. The wine list was good and we had an excellent robust Puglian red. Then the food arrived and oh boy, was it good! It wasn't fancy or frilly or frou-frou - this is good honest food made by people who care. There were some delicious Italian-American classics e.g. manicotti with a light, fluffy filling; perfectly seasoned meatballs. Everything was done with care and attention to the flavour. During our meal, a couple stepped in and left immediately stating: "too romantic and no bar" - for us, these were pretty good reasons to stay!

La Summa is the best! Authentic atmosphere and delicious home made pasta. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Boston!

Rustic style Italian restaurant and really cosy feel, family friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. I was told the marinara sauce was of "nona level quality" and the cost was reasonably priced for a city centre.

Wish I could give zero stars!! Made a reservation for 8 pm...at 8:30 while asking when we could expect to be seated, wait staff rudely told us that “it’s Saturday night and that’s what we should expectâ€. Horrible! Definitely worsened my first trip to Boston.

Delicious food, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. Had the stuffed artichoke app, and reminded me of my mom's! Pollo Speciale was amazing. Will definitely go back!!

My GF and I had an outstanding dinner here last weekend. We enjoyed the overall atmosphere as well as the service. The Bruschetta was amazing! I loved the Haddock Bianco. Everything went quite well with a bottle of wine.

Best Alfredo I've ever had. Service was quick, prices were reasonable, wine was good. Great "off the tourist road" spot

The staff here moves as fast as they can but the one thing if there was any to complain about is the slow service with the cocktails. Not sure if it was because these were some serious creative cocktails or what but the time from one to the next was long, almost too long. Dessert was forgetful and needed work, could do without the Greek donuts and chocolate Twinkie

Excellent food & service! Typical cozy North End atmosphere.
