Take a ticket, place your order, Get the BEST cuban bread in the world. The end. Amazing service with fast and friendly staff even when it's super busy, Lots of bakery items and sandwiches to choose from but don't leave without a loaf of the cuban bread ( yes its vegan, yes its the best)

Delicious pastries, kind servers, lovely chefs! I personally love their Avocado Toast for breakfast! Cuban bread from them is the best you'll get in Tampa!!

A nice, old fashioned bakery. I only bought a bithday gift but will return (probably tomorrow) and buy one of those delicious looking apple turnovers for myself. There were lots of nice looking cookies, cakes, other stuff & pies to order. Did not see a longjohn. Will look harder tomorrow.

Great quality, delicious pastries but $4 for a large coffee is on the pricey side

Don't go to LA Segunda bakery to purchase any type of necessities that are advertising on TV that they have at this time of crisis like bleach disinfectant spray toilet paper, gloves they are price gouging 9.99 for a generic gallon of bleach the same goes for the disinfectant spray along with paper towel, water, gloves absolutely ridiculous!! They should absolutely be ashamed of themselves!!

I love walking into a place where #1 it smells amazing! #2 it’s packed & #3 it’s a ticket machine!!! Call me weird but this place is amazing from fresh cooked food to the deserts! The display is amazing. Not to mention the food was super good. I also work for door dash and they are timely and considerate of us drivers to. Will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone. Great job guys

Can't say enough about this hidden gem. All the local Cuban spots get their bread from here early in the morning. Pick your poison. My personal favorite is the cheese toast with eggs and a sugary cafe con leche. Local favorite. Also cater (called in lunch for the team here before (portions are a tad small)). Must go for breakfast while in Tampa!

Walking in, it gives off a nice feeling, which is what you’d expect at a bakery. I’ll give it that. When I tried to order, the lady behind the counter said something I couldn’t understand. Then a man came out from next to her and started talking to her, and he walked over towards me. The other lady began serving another customer, which I thought was a bit strange. The man asked what I wanted and I asked for a pound of assorted cookies, and we went through what kinds, etc. I paid for it and left. When I got home, I opened the box. Inside was maybe 8 cookies. I actually took them all outside of the box and weighed them. I was not very happy to see that it wasn’t a pound, but an ounce. Good luck if you go there.

Just came to grab some breakfast sandwiches and some sweets from the bakery and the eggs were made in the microwave they were not good, the bread was the only good part about the sandwiches. We ordered a NY style cheesecake and a strawberry shortcake and they both tasted like they’ve been sitting there for like a week.. They weren’t fresh and they were almost hard, even the whipped cream on the shortcake was hard. Its not worth the hype just go in and buy a loaf of bread and make sandwiches at home honestly.. such a long wait for a disappointing experience. The bread was the only good thing in there

This bakery will invite you in with the smell alone. The pastries are definitely fresh, staff is very funny and friendly and the sandwiches are to die for. First time only tried the cuban and the turkey bacon avocado but, AMAZING!!!

Always excellent service, especially since so crowded. Always lovely pastries, good coffee and an abundance of choices. The sandwiches look incredible, but have not tried one yet

The best original Cuban sandwiches anywhere! Went in for just a sandwich and left with 5 must try desserts. Cakes, pastries, cookies, and more Cuban delicacies. Cuban coffee was perfect.

Amazing and fresh. The breakfast sandwich may have been the best I've ever had, even though it was just egg and cheese. The best Cuban bread around with a healthy dose of butter probably helped... Well worth a visit!

The place was busy on a recent Saturday trip, the food was good, my wife loved the cafe con leches, the pastries we had were excellent, I had the apple turnover and she had the guava and cheese. The turnover was standard fare done very well, the interesting thing about the guava/cheese was it didn't really taste like a sweet. Initially I wasn't very impressed, but it seemed to get more interesting as you continued eating it. I would definitely try some other items there that I hadn't eaten before after that guava/cheese pastry.
