They have a dog-friendly patio. We had a couple appetizers. The deep fried artichoke was yummy. I liked their variety of margaritas, etc, that weren't too expensive. We ate here before the lighted parade.

Would have liked a few more vegetarian options, but the vegetarian version of the tostadas compuestas were delicious. The ambiance was great, the service was good even though the restaurant was pretty full, and the history of La Posta is charming. This was my first visit, but it won't be my last!

We had a great time eating here! The food is good but chips and salsa can't be beat!!

Questions & Answers

It depends on how many are in your party. If it's 6 or more, yes, it's a good idea to call & make a reservation. Sundays are usually a busy day @ La Posta, especially after church, so after 12:00 pm-2:00 pm it's busy! Great place to eat! Fun ambiance, great service, delicious food & drinks! Enjoy!!

That will give you plenty of time to eat... yes...and they won't run you out the door right at closing...

8am

No we don't offer brunch buffets. However, we are open for breakfast on the weekends.

It will be very crowded, so reservations are a great idea.

Don't know about reservations. Were there for lunch and had little time to wait. Can't say enough about how good this place is.

Depends on the time of day during the week and if it's the weekend, yes.

It's open to eat there.......

The prices for take out are the same as the prices in the restaurant. You can see the prices for our items on the website under "Menu". However, we do charge different prices for our bulk items for buffets/catering, etc. You can find those on our website under "Fiesta to Go". Gracias!

I don't know about La Posta because of the old Mesilla has many ghost stories. Try the Double Eagle, many ghost stories there. It is in the same square as La Posta.
