La Playita Mexican Restaurant

We went labor day weekend on Saturday night. It was karaoke and very active. The service was very accessible. We had standard food. It was typical flavor of Mexican. We had a few drinks with the bartender.

Ehh, regular plain restaurant. Basic food. Not good not bad, I'm certainly glad we got some Mexican food options on the beach but this place is very average. Uncleared tables, had trouble figuring out who needed to wait our table, food came out 5 minutes after ordering drinks came 10-15 minutes after food. Whatever, so so experience. Hopefully food quality and service gets better or they wont last long.

Probably the worst mexican rest. I've ever eaten at. The food looked good but the taste was bland. The meats were so chewy terrible quality. Even the chicken was chewy. We were very dissappointed to be honest. We basically order our check which ended up being about $50.00 for food that we didn't even eat. The service was good but that is all I can say about this place. The waitress was so surprised that we didn't want a to go box. Oh... and to top it all I got food poisoned. It was not a pleasant experience. Usually if I have a bad experience I give the place a second try but not this one.
