If you appreciate quality tacos, definitely check this place out. The seasoned steak tacos (pastor) were delicious, juicy and well-seasoned, with fresh cilantro and radishes. The best aspect though: homemade tortillas. Perfect. Thick enough to be a vessel for all the ingredients; thin enough to keep the flavor balance and ratio of tortilla to fillings.

I don't know Spanish well and it's a challenge trying to order because the offering is not traditional. The wait staff is more than willing to help you with the menu.

Love this place the food amazing, fresh, yummy and they also served nuggets for picky kids too. Not on the menu but just asked for nuggets! They have fresh waters( aguas frescas) horchata my fav! Always packed but worth the wait.

Amazingly good food. Best torta I have ever eaten. Taco al pastor was great. Mole was delicious. The restaurant was packed at lunch and I can see why. We ate outside and it was ok. I almost thought I was in downtown Cancun. I highly recommend!

Another one of my favorite Mexican food places in Winston Salem. Great food. Good prices. My go too meal of choice is the quesadillas with lengua or carne asada. Not your normal quesadilla. I’ll include a picture. It’s almost made like a taco. Stuffed with meat , melted cheese, lettuce , avocado and tomato. The el pastor is delicious as well. They also have amazing rotisserie chicken sold in quarter / half or whole chickens. If I go in a group we usually get the taco family meal. Which comes with a dozen tacos a 2 liter of soda. They also have a small meat market attached. Which I love. Servers are friendly. Most speak English but they prefer Spanish. Check this gem out for authentic Mexican in the triad.

Their food is cheap but absolutely amazing! I can't think of a time I have gone there where it hasn't been busy, and it's for good reason. Their food is authentic, and if you're looking for something they don't have in the adjoining market, they'll gladly get it for you or find out where you can. Personally, I go for their sopes, as they're the only place I know of in the city that makes them, but everything I've tried has been absolutely amazing! La Perlita, where have you been all my life? Best Mexican restaurant I've had since moving here, and I've tried almost all of the ones in my area.

Very nice and friendly staff. Food was good. Compared to Pancho Villa and Mi Pueblo the Food had a different flavor and does not appear to be commercialized Easy parking but limited and Wi-Fi was available. We ordered the Tamales and steak tacos. To me the Tamales would have a better flavor if they would have use fresh real corn instate of the corn maza, that is the only reason I give them 4 stars.
