La Nina Restaurant

The best flan and Cafe Cubano con leche I've ever had. I imagine the rest of the food is as good.However, the parking is ridiculously bad, the lot is gravel with a bad drop off to the left and it is confusing when trying to figure out where it is legal to park. The service and ordering is slow and confusing for 1st timers. I would suggest looking at a menu prior to getting in line.There are a lot of employees milling about inside, plates stack up outside, and there is just general confusion. However, I would highly recommend going there. I don't think you can get better Cuban food in the keys for such a low price. 3 flan with coconut and a cafe cubano con leche for $12.40.

Happened to find this gem by chance. All of a sudden there was a massive downpour and we had to stop. We just happened to see this Cuban restaurant and pulled in. We parked and though it took 5 steps to get to the restaurant I was already drenched. The people at the restaurant immediately gave us towels to dry ourselves. Then my wife and I were having a tough time deciding what to eat and they gave us samples which was very kind. We both settled for beef,rice,beans and fried banana and they were awesome. We also ordered Cuban coffee which also amazing. Then we got a surprise; we got complementary pudding/custard. The cost is very very inexpensive. I will highly recommend this place.

Visited La Nina Restaurant for Lunch during winter break visit to Florida Keys / Marathon. Family wanted mexican food and this showed up on google map search. Although from the pictures it was not clear whether we can sit and eat or its just a takeout. After reaching there we saw there are few table/chairs but not too much space, first we thought to take out, then later people left and there was space so decided to eat there. The people were very friendly (that is why 4 stars), the food was ok. Wife ordered Pepper chicken and I ordered Chicken Salted in Garlic. Food was good.

Be careful not to tip twice as they added a line item charge for “tips” before the total!!Food and service was good

It was so good and the people are so nice. The food was very authentic aswell. I always go whenever I go to the keys and for the people who wrote bad reviews I don’t agree, you probably just disrespected them. They are such nice people and I go all the time. Taste like home cook meals. Definitely recommend!

The place is family owned. Great Food.We ordered a Mahi Mahi Grilled Fish. It was great in taste. The King Fish was awesomely prepared. This is a must recommendation if u r going Key West.

Absolutely loved this place!! Originally we were looking for a place in the area that served a good portion of seafood for decent price but ended up here and man we do not regret it! Food was so good, huge portions and seriously good prices!!! The people who work their are also very nice! Just a great place all in all. Will be back before we leave from our vacation.

Not so much a 'restaurant' as a family run shack, but the food whilst basic is wholesome, generous and very tasty.Not for those with limp wrists looking for star ratings. Ideal for real people wanting to meet the same.

Seriously awesome sandwiches! And the coffee? Served in a tiny cup (demitasse cup?) was astonishing. Try it.

Cafe cubano was fantastic (we drank 4!) empanadas were fresh and tasty, my husband's la Nina omelette was massive and he wants to go back daily for more. Choripan sandwich had tasty sausage in it. Service was wonderful. Without question we'll be back to this fun, relaxed, authentic lunch spot. Muchas gracias!

They have good Latin food, and really good Cuban coffee, cafecito, colada.

Very very good food. Not only is the food great but it is very very inexpensive when feeding more then one child.

The best Cuban food! Our new must stop place on the way home to Key West. Very delicious food, friendly people. Definitely will come back.

Food was great and authentic! Don't expect all the bell and whistles but this is authentic Cuban food. A small mom & pop restaurant on the side of the road that fills the belly. Just a few tables inside and seating outside. They offer take out service as well. Ropa vieja was delicious!
