Delightful restaurant! The service is superb and dinner is always special at La Lanterna. Beautiful setting in or out. A "go to" in Ridgewood.

We moved to Ridgewood October 2018 and heard from many how great the restaurants. My wife and I had a difficult time concurring. Finally we found one we look forward to returning to. La Lanterna had great food, service and atmosphere. The only issue we have is parking which seems to be a big issue in Ridgewood. We'll uber next time.

My office has a Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner here every year. It is always wonderful! The food is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Its a warm setting and I have good memories of several happy dinners there with good friends. I highly recommend.

Wonderful place to eat. The waitstaff is very attentive. The food is very tasty! I loved the fish, it’s very fresh. Their appetizers are very good too! I definitely recommend trying La Laterna!

This is a hidden gem of the Ridgewood restaurant scene. From the moment you walk in until you leave the entire staff makes you feel at home. La Lanterna is BYOB so make sure you grab a bottle of wine on your way down, you will not be disappointed. We started off with the prosciutto wrapped burrata as an appetizer, the absolute best I’ve had in the North Jersey. As far as the entrees go we went with the fresh pesto alla genovese with breaded chicken and Paul’s penne bolognese sauce, everything was excellent. So if you’re looking for a new spot to frequent I highly recommend checking out La Lanterna.

Came here with my wife for our anniversary. The Tuscany seething was really nice. Staff was very friendly. And of coarse the food was amazing. Must try the gluten free carrot cake.

Basic Italian food, overpriced... Got even charged $4 for house salad which comes with the main course. Really?

I like this place! They prepare high class dishes, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that spot is very experienced, I like a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are always of high class, the attitude towards the guests is good. I often eat in this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.

I have been coming here for years. By far my favorite legit Italian food restaurant. You cannot order anything wrong from their menu. The atmosphere is intimate and the waiting staff is excellent. I recently took my wife here for our 5th wedding anniversary and they truly made it a special event. I will continue to support this amazing hidden gem.
