La Hacienda Taqueria Mexican Restaurant

Great service and great food. My daughter, my niece and I went before my daughters basketball game and the experience was perfect and timely. The server was very friendly and accommodating. I had the taco meal, my niece had the kids burrito meal and my daughter had the shrimp tacos. Everything was very tasty - a Taco Tuesday success!

Reading the reviews of this saying this place is fabulous is a complete joke! After about 40 minutes of waiting we finally got our food which in kind words isn’t fit for a mutt to eat! The presentation of the food was sloppy, the burrito itself was barely warm and my fiancé’s food was cold, staff mainly sat at the bar and talked instead of checking on the tables and refilling drinks. I strongly recommend you take your appetite and money somewhere else. Nashville does have good authentic Mexican food but La Hacienda isn’t the place. You have better luck going to Taco Bell.

La Hacienda has the best fajitas. I get shrimp and chicken with extra sour cream.. you get so much food one meal is actually two meals. The Mexican seasonings and spices they use leave you feeling as if you've just eaten at a restaurant in Mexico.. So delish.....

Our final attempt at this place. We have tried repeatedly to have a good experience that would be redemptive to the numerous bad experiences. But to no avail. The servers are quick to take your order, then never return. And 100% of the time, our orders came out wrong. The older woman (hostess, maybe owner) at the door is always cranky and mumbles under her breath despite our attempts to bring smiles and positivity in the door with us. When it’s time to check out, be ready to take a siesta. 20 minutes is the average wait time to get your check and pay it. I highly recommend El Mariachi, right up Thompson lane. I gave it two stars because I’ve had worse.

Poor customer service skills. No one was happy to be working there that day. Don't even think about adding or deleting, because you will get a resounding No.

It might have just been because we had been at a busy part of the day, but the service could have been a lot better. The waitress didn't fill our drinks nor come around the table to check on us often. She also forgot a few things that we ordered and when we asked for sides/extras she would either take her time or forget. The food was alright. I did like the steak tacos, but I've definitely had better Mexican food.

Can't recommend this place enough! This may have been one of the best Mexican dinners I've had. The Shrimp Fajitas was huge and delicious, the drinks are super fun and the staff is quick and kind. No wonder Obama stopped by and took photos with the entire staff :)

Great Hispanic food and drinks were fantastic as well. The prices are reasonable and the serve is relatively quick. Only four stars cause our experience with servers are never very consistent.

I enjoy this restaurant every time I go. I had a shrimp burrito today and it was fabulous. The chips are not the best I have encountered, but they have good salsa and a Verde and Red sauce on the tables. I like both of them. Service is good and servers are very friendly. They serve breakfast selections all day. It stays fairly steady with customers. There is not much parking in front of building, but there is additional parking in back of the building. President Obama visited when he was in town and they have the pictures on the wall to prove it. I would recommend trying it if you like authentic mexican cuisine.

I've been going to this restaurant for over 16 years. The food and margaritas are always good. The staff is always friendly, especially Maria, at the check out counter. You get to know people from frequenting a restaurant. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Nashville. Authentic. Former president Obama and his staff visited this restaurant on a visit to Nashville. Photos on the wall document the visit. You will love it!

Service was good, food was just ok.. I was hoping for better flavors but didn't deliver for me..

Chicken Chimichanga is great! Beans and rice feel like authentic Mexican food. Guayaba drink is really good too! The atmosphere is very cozy as well. We've been there twice and the service can be a little better but maybe it just depends how busy it is or who you get.
