A great spot for Italian in St.Paul. Classy intimate vibes, offering tasteful Italian dishes cooked with care. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great Italian food at a good price in a nice quiet setting.

Even though this place is super fancy, it is very affordable. Good spot for a date, especially on the patio

First time dining "at" La Grolla via their curbside takeout. I loved the option to do family chicken dinner. That with a side of penne vodka was delicious! Great customer service as well. We will definitely be back!

Amazing food for an amazing price!! You get your money’s worth for the food- it’s the perfect size. Everything is delicious, and probably some of the best pasta I’ve ever had.

Food was amazing, all the creme sauces are great. I've been here twice and both have been great experiences. One of the dishes came cold and they immediately replaced it with a fresh one free of charge. Great service all around.

Great service and very reasonably priced. The food was good (no major complaints), but it wasn't anything special. The dishes we had all lacked a little flavor and were more on the bland side. There are several other Italian restaurants in the MSP area that I would recommend above.

They have pasta dishes as you would expect, great appetizers and salads, full bar, and a specials menu to suit any taste. La Grolla has a cozy, neighborhood feel, friendly personable staff, and fine food. Great spot for fine restaurant enthusiasts. It's my favorite Italian spot in the Twin Cities.

My husband and I visited La Grolla a few weeks ago on a whim. The location was great and the ambiance was quaint and romantic. We both had pasta dishes and they were delicious. The bruschetta that we started with was probably my my favorite part of the meal. Be sure to check this restaurant out!

Best Italian food in MN, hands down. Chef Alessandro is a culinary God, along with his outstanding sous chef, Whiz, (Ryan) it's impossible to have a bad meal here. The bussers are the real heroes in this establishment. They are constantly filling water, bringing out bread and clearing plates as soon as you're ready. Lisa is the best server I've ever had. Christina is also another favorite of mine. I've also really enjoyed John and Paul. They seem to truly care about you as a guest and both of them are fantastic. Although it can be a bit hectic during busy times, I assure you, you will forget about the wait after you've had your first bite. The hostess Linnea is also top notch, and seems to be the one running the show. Highly recommended!

Italian fare. Nice without being pretentious. Do try the grill chicken sandwich with fresh mozzarella and tomato! The seasonal patio is has a nice atmosphere and is somewhat sheltered so you don't bake in summer.

Questions & Answers

Yea, watch the signs. The lot is just behind the restaurant

Couldn't tell you!

No dress code, beyond the basic no shirt no shoes no service.

This restaurant is having issues. It used to be wonderful but either new management or ownership has caused it to go downhill big time....I would pass....

Didnt bother asking. Place isnt the kind I'd want to sit on my phone but I'm sure they do

The staff that works there have all been there for a very long time and to get hired as a server is difficult just because they don't have a rotation of staff coming and leaving. You would want to have A LOT of experience in the Industry with a nice resume and good references and I would drop it off and inquire about any openings. The gentlemen I spoke with said that their process is that when they do have a seldom opening they start new hires as a Busperson/Porter and they have to work their way up..

I think so. My picky daughter loves their plain noodles in butter. They are so nice about accommodating that.we saw other families there

Yes

Probably ok today. The state fair is going on so its much easier to get table. Also 4:00 is on the early side. I would say no.
