La Grande Boucherie

Le Grande Boucherie’s Steak Tartare was a delightful experience. The presentation was on point, and the taste was excellent. It had the perfect balance of seasonings, and the texture was just right. A true treat for the taste buds. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, our waiter Ozzy was so sweet, and kind, explained meals, gave us enough time to understand the menu. Very great food, calm quiet simple yet chic environment. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing meal with great service!!! Could not recommend more ;)

My friend and I really enjoyed our dinner last night .Restaurant looks amazing .Food was delicious especially escargot and dessert with chestnut pure .Our server Dragana was very pleasant and attentive , we felt very welcoming and I am definitely planning to come back with my husband for date night .

Boucherie delivers a classic French experience from the interior, to the service, to the menu options and I must say, for a spot in midtown I was pleasantly surprised how great the service was. They made us feel comfortable and didn’t rush us at any point throughout our dinner. It’s a good spot to meet a friend for drinks or dinner after work. You can’t go wrong ordering, but whatever you do, be sure to order a side (or two) of fries)

It was a pleasant experience overall. I enjoyed the service and the atmosphere of the place. However, I wish the food had been a bit warmer when it arrived at the table. Some dishes are best enjoyed when they're served warm, and I had to eat quickly so that it wouldn't get cold and lose its taste. The server was very polite and friendly throughout. He definitely made the experience much better. Despite the food temperature issue, I would definitely consider going back in the near future and giving the food a second chance.

I am genuinely surprised at the positive reviews of this place. I suppose this was at one time pretty good, but I was not happy. The lobster bisque was watery with no flavor. I also ordered a medium burger and it had no salt and came out well done. Normally I would have said something to the waiter, but I felt that I would have just sounded like a complainer mentioning two food items that I didn’t like. The only thing we ordered that was semi decent was the french onion soup. The only redeeming quality about this place is that it has a really cool atmosphere. Aside from that I think this is a quintessential tourist trap.

Very beautiful restaurant! Great for groups. I really enjoyed the cocktails and the bar. I’m a vegan so I had the beyond burger and it was just okay; a bit dry.

Everything was perfect! Really enjoyed the environment and their food. It brings an authentic piece of French to America. Overpassed my expectations.

The overall dining experience was disappointing. The salad was overly vinegary, scallops were mediocre, and the tomahawk steak didn't live up to expectations – lacking bone marrow (it only came with a bone) not hot enough, possibly over-rested. A letdown in terms of quality.

I like the ambience here though seating outside is a bit hotter than inside. The appetizers we have were pretty good. The main is a bit on average. Their profiteroles with ice-cream was pretty great. Nice service. Though the place is pretty crowded and advance reservation is recommended, I think you can do walk-in as well as their space is pretty big.

Beautiful setting but that was really about it. The French Onion soup was mediocre and very salty. The ravioli was also pretty underwhelming and I expected more of the New York quality. The salmon, however, was very good and I do recommend this one to others. We really got the vibe that everybody was being pretentious - the staffs did their job and put on a nice smile but we couldn’t take off the feeling that things were.. distanced and overhyped.

Fantastic food. Definitely on the pricier side, but well worth it. Steak was spot on, scallops were excellent, lobster bisque was great. Really everything was perfect with exception of profiteroles, where somehow the ice cream was just very bland. Still giving it a full 5 stars overall and will be coming back to try other menu items. Just a note about the entrance, it’s located mid block and is in the open section where you could just cut across from 53rd to 54th.

GO TO THE WEST VILLAGE LOCATION. We order 2 steak and 2 appetizers. We had to wait for an hour for the steak because the waiter forgot our food m. It was 5:30pm so was not even crowded. The steak came over cooked. I have to send it back. Did not have a great time.
