This place is awesome! Affordable prices, considerable portions and the staff are consistently very welcoming.

Very good food and cocktails, great service. The place to be before an evening continuing at the Grand. Pricing $$$.

When we pick a restaurant that’s only open four hours for lunch, one would think a restaurant would know the value of other people’s time. Placed an order for overpriced $22 Rigatoni (which if you place the vegetarian option provides you less food and a smaller pasta portion than with) 30 mins in advance. Arriving I was told my food would be out in a few minutes but after a 10ish minute wait I over hear in Spanish asking when my food will be out. Come to find out the ticket was “lostâ€. She prints a ticket and provides it to the staff, mind you DID NOT tell me that the order has not even been started until I asked. Had to end up canceling my order, while another table had to walk out after a 40 minute wait.

Quite possibly the best higher-end food in Wilmington. Really creative cuisine, and consistently good taste. It’s becoming a regular of ours for nice date nights.Tasteful, unique decor, and the bread served with the meal is also the best I’ve had in Wilmington. Keep bringing the innovative cuisine!

Wonderful hostess made our visit possible. You said if we could get to the restaurant right away come she could get us in but that we would need to be gone by 7:00 p.m.. We got there and were gone by 6:45 and she was so kind and accommodating. Our server was terrific and the food was out of this world. I would recommend La Fia to anyone visiting Wilmington. Mouth-watering for sure.

The food here is always divine, and the servers make you feel at ease and well taken care of. They seamlessly refill glasses, clear tables and ensure food arrives just when it should. You are never wanting for water, or waiting too long for the next course, however, you also never feel rushed. The prices can't be beat for the type of food and service offered as well. Highly, highly recommended.

My favorite restaurant in Wilmington. Everything is great. I recommend the octopus appetizer. The flavors and texture are really nice and light, nothing like Japanese sushi octopus which is tougher to chew. I have had many items, and have never been disappointed. The old fashioned is one of the best I've had as well. I can't ask for anything more.

Yum! Definitely the best place I've eaten in Wilmington. I had the pesto shrimp salad last year and would've given La Fia a 5, but I returned for the same dish and was a bit disappointed. The shrimp was wayyyy too salty, and the salad itself had too much oil. I've also tried the pulled pork sandwich, and it was pretty good.

The food was fantastic. We savored every bite. I had the rockfish and it was great. The flourless chocolate cake is to die for. Give it a shot.

Our meal at La Fia was the best we had when we were staying around Wilmington for a short weekend getaway. I had the rigatoni which was tasty and hearty. As a starter we shared the charcuterie/cheeseboard which was really good and memorable - it was in our opinion actually the best part of the meal. The service was friendly and efficient. Overall, if you're in the area and want a nice dinner for a reasonable price, La Fia is a great option.

I came here during restaurant week. The menu of course was not the full menu, but you still had a lot to choose from. The service was very good, our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is usually busy but the food was great. I had crab cakes, calamari, mussle, rabbit ragu, and veal. The Calamari was just simply exquisite. The crab cakes were very small, but it is packed with crab meat. I can't even begin to describe the Rabbit Ragu. You'll be disappointed if you're looking for a healthy portion of rabbit meat (*note it may have been scaled down for restaurant week), but what you get is pretty much a brilliantly cooked meal . The veal left a bit more to be desired, however the pasta made up for it. Overall, the food was wonderful and the service was great.

Went there last night for Valentine's Day. It was our first time, and I must say we were impressed. We are big foodies who have had really great food in Philly and DC, but never expected to taste what we tasted last night in Wilmington. The flavors were insane!!!! The pasta with the truffle puree took me back to the best pasta I ever had in Tuscany. I mean seriously, this place blew our minds. Loved the atmosphere as well. Will definitely be back on date nights or when trying to impress visitors from out of state!
