Closing 30 min early and wouldn't let me in for a quick grab of a dozen of tortillas. Arrived at 530pm and was supposed to close at 6pm.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DON'T GO TO LA ESTRELLA BAKERY AT THE MERCADO unless you want to be harassed and humiliated by the rude and disgusting people who work there! This Bakery caters to gentrifiers and treats the people from the Barrio like crap!

Tasty, authentic, and cheap. What more could you want in a bakery? I could have conchas from there every week for the rest of my life and be thrilled. Staff is informed and friendly as well, and everything is very tasty. Great location inside a larger market square, but note that they do not offer the savory tamales like the other location does.
