Food is very good here. The pozole is especially delicious (both green and red). The chicken soup have hearty and with clean, fresh flavors. The mole here is also really good. Staff is also very, very friendly.

Me and my girlfriend came to this restaurant because we heard they have vegan and vegetarian options. They do! The rice and beans are vegan and they also have vegan sour cream and cheese. Their vegan options are Flor de calabaza (zucchini flower), huitlacoche (corn smut), hongos (mushrooms) and nopales (cactus) you can make burritos, tacos, quesadillas, gorditas, or sopes with these options and maybe more! Alejandra, our server, is vegan and daughter of the owner and she is trying to get mock meats on the menu soon. She was very helpful! Order aguas de jamaica or tamarindo with yout meal it goes wonderfully. The salsas are also made fresh and are delicious and spicy.

Everything here was exceptional: the agua de horchata, homemade tortillas de maÃz, huaraches, arroz, frijoles, quesadillas de huitlacoche and flor de calabaza, cecina al albañil. This is the best, most authentic Mexican food I've had on this side of the border - even better than some of the restaurants I ate at while living in Mexico for almost 5 years. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was outstanding too. Our server was so warm and welcoming. Even when business was pretty steady, she was always attentive and kind while working alone. So glad we took the bus trip to get to this gem of a spot.

Wonderful food, charming staff, flavors that remind me of Grandma's cooking. BYOB! Ample seating. Everything was awesome.

Food is better than the Casa De Pueblo and no charge for coffee cream or salsa..

A genuine surprise. They are a small locally owned restaurant with an extensive menu of Mexican specialties. I had my go to which is chicken in Poblano mole. In this case it was enchiladas. The wrappers, the rice were very good and the beans, chicken and mole was exceptional. Smooth and delicate at the beginning then the child's chimed in. This is my new spot. Byob and a friendly staff

Family owned business. Friendly staff. Very very authentic Mexican food. Breakfast specials are steal at 4.99. Clean restaurant with lots of tables. Washroom was impeccable, but extremely tight if you're in a wheel chair. I highly recommend. Didnt try it this time but I heard their mole is supposed to be very good.
