Super good pizza. Some of the best pie in the city. The Roma tomato salad is bizarrely good and simple and refreshing. Order an extra pizza, it’s amazing the next day and you’ll thank yourself. “Thanks future me!” You know you deserve it.

My go-to pizza place. Their Classico Pepperoni is out of this world!

I ordered a speck-and-arugula pizza with a bottle of flat mineral water, no ice, no straw. They brought me a speck-and-arugula pizza (which I'll describe more below), a bottle of sparkling mineral water, and a cup of water with ice and a straw.The pizza itself tasted good, with well-balanced flavors (after I added crushed red pepper flakes from the jar on the table, which to be fair not everyone would want), but the crust was suffering — the center was wet all the way through, leaving slices with no structure at their tips. The heel was light enough that I didn't mind eating it, but it wasn't the singular yeasty experience of a heel at Robert's down in Streeterville — nor even the distinct crunchy crispness of the heels at Veranda up in Edgewater.Little enough noise-damping insulation or decor that the place was cacophonous. I suspect that was the actual cause of at least one of the errors in my water order.
