La Colombe Torrefaction

The sound of oat milk doesn’t excite me too much but since there were so many rave reviews for it i gave it a whirl. Thank you google community for steering me in the right direction. The draft latte is sooooo smooth and the oat milk lends it a touch of sweetness. I like how they ask if you want to opt out of the ice so you can enjoy it without having it diluted. I tried their latte in canned form while i was at Trader Joe’s and loved it too.

I love coffee. I love non-big chain coffee shops. I obviously loved La Colombe based on those two criteria. Was staying down the street for work, and popped in here twice. Service was friendly, establishment clean and the coffee aromatic and delicious. I ordered unsweetened Mocha's both times with extra shots of espresso and they were so very tasty. The pastries looked divine on my first visit, so when I came back I ordered a croissant. Seriously scrumptious.La Colombe for the win.

We were visiting Chicago, and la Colombe was was next to our hotel, what a great result. The coffee is magnificent, the pastries are OK and, upon another guest requesting one, I was so happy to hear staff saying that they're trying to move away from single use straws. Really great job.

Traditional Espresso bar in a sleek, modern cafe. Retail coffee, drip options, teas, pour overs, nitro-lattes, and a full espresso Menu, la Colombe serves each drink with a ceramic plate and spoon. Their extensive pastry options are from La Boulangerie, a classic french bakery on Damen/Wilson. The friendly and knowledgeable staff have the answers for any questions you have. 5 seats, 3 tables, and a large standing-bar focus your attention to their quality coffee. Worth a visit!!

The best coffee ever!!!

Cutest coffee shop in the neighborhood. Modern, chill, and good coffee. The location is so convenient and easy to find. In winter, it's great to sit inside and just enjoy the street view. They also have a variety of limited pastry items. Different options everyday. You gotta come early to get the Danish Scone.

Great drinks and atmosphere. The space is nice and open and staff is friendly. I ordered the turmeric latte which was wonderful!

Visit here multiple times a week. Friendly staff that are intentional about remembering your drink or name. Love that it’s proper coffee and not fake and sugar flavored. Love the oat milk option that one of the staff introduced me to

People were nice, it's hard to find a place to sit, and they just pour your coffee from a tap, so it's really quick.

First time at this location and first time at a La Colombe. Cashier was very nice. I ordered a iced coffee and it was delicious. I highly recommend trying if you are in the area. I ordered a chocolate mini pound cake and it was great.

Nice, efficient staff. The draft latte is a classic. Any time I’m in a city with a La Colombo, I make a beeline to come! Other drink options are just as good. The staff at this location were efficient, polite, and nice. Would definitely return!

You smell that the coffee here is good when coming in! It made me sit down and even buy a pastry- chocolate almond cupcake: moist, chocolaty, glutenfree topped with a chocolate ganache- so yummy!!! The Macchiato was quite good - a little too much water. But for an American macchiato it was almost very good! Will come back.

Was drawn in when walking outside by the strong coffee smell. Had a delicious latte that was as strong as it smelled. Would have stayed longer if there was more seating but there were a few people waiting for seats so I felt bad staying longer.
