La Cocina Mexican Restaurant

Today was the second time we have eaten at this restaurant. We have not been disappointed yet. Everything we had today and a few weeks ago was absolutely wonderful and the staff here are very nice and helpful.

Came here while on vacation. We had a table of 11 which included a four year old, one year old, and three month old. We did call ahead so they had the table ready when we arrived. Had great service throughout and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the fried ice cream!

The food was exceptional! Authentic Hispanic food and not greasy like most places. My entire group loved their dinner and the staff was incredibly friendly.

This is the best Mexican food I’ve had. On the inside, it feels like a home so each table is comfortable. The wait staff is amazing... very kind and considerate. Great experience. Will be back for sure.

We dropped by on our way to St. Augustine. It was a cozy place. The staff was great. The prices were okay, the portions were a little small too. Overall was really good food though!

La Cocina is a great, family friendly, restaurant. I got the cheese, beef, and chicken enchiladas. The enchiladas themselves were great, the mole sauce was oddly sweet, the refried beans were really good, but the rice was kinda bland. We also got chips and guacamole which was really good, the salsa that came with it was excellent. The staff was great. Our server, I forgot her name, was really nice and always made sure we had enough to drink.

First time here. Loved the ambiance. Definitely not a big corporate chain restaurant. I had the enchiladas. Delicious!!!! Will be coming back to try more items on the menu.

Took our family dinner. Fast , friendly severs. Clean restroom and dinning room. Decor made us feel like we were in Mexico. Chips we're severed hot and salsa was fresh. Great start to a good meal! We ordered Quesadilla, taco, burrito, and stuffed peppers. Fried plantain and fried ice cream. Everything was great. Not to spicy but nice flavor. We will be back!

Don't let the outside foul you. The food and service was fantastic! And cute little extras that made for a nice dinner, like the bull lime, a cherry and a flag in our margaritas, and chihuahua salt and pepper shakers. They even ran my to go box out to my car when I forgot it on the table! Highly recommend this place.

Excellent food ans splendid service! We ordered Tostadas, Enchiladas, a Margarita and a Tres Leches all was finger licking good.

Excellent authentic Mexican food! Great service! I had the steak quesadillas. They were fabulous! Best Mexican restaurant in St. Augustine!

Attentive staff and good service. Steak salad was delicious. The twist is the steak is whole and served with a chopped salad.Fried yucca was crispy on the outside, creamy inside.
