Came here for the third time and was impressed all over again. So I decided it’s time for a review! The quality of food is just amazing and I would say it exceeds all the expectations for the price listed! Also the cocktails are great!Very tasty, nice vibe and friendly staff. Ordered bunch of stuff, got really full and the bill just surprised us. Definitely coming back:) -The only thing it’s a little too cold inside, so maybe adding hot drinks would be a solution

Wen to Chinatown and noticed this place. It was very packed in on a weekday, and we had to wait for 10 min before coming in. Tables stand very close to each other, so you will not have much personal space here. Tacos are very pricy for not a lot of meat, but are tasty. If you want cheese it is extra. Two sauces look almost the same but one is spicy, so be careful. I liked cesadilia more than tacos. We have also tried Mexican soda and it was very sugary but good, especially when mixed with water. Good place for small and pricy snack. Fried cheese is awesome!

Best tacos I have ever had they were AMAZING!! Serving size was a bit on the small side so I recommend getting an appetizer. The refried bean dip is really good! Overall I highly recommend this restaurant!

This place feeds your inner hipster. Amazing food. Cool selection of drinks. It's a victim of its own success though, as wait times are higher than normal even in off hours. I can't imagine what the busy hours will be like.

Delicious Mexican food. I went with a friend. We got the tasty Popular Mexican beer “Modelo, Special” with tacos and ...? And after that, we got the guacamole with burritos(?). Although the place was full, the staff were fast and friendly. It’s worth trying. A different version of the other Mexican restaurants(3Amigos) , this one looks and tastes more like real Mexican street food. The prices were reasonable. I'll definitely go again and again.

The best tacos in town! they also have vegan tacos and they are a-ma-zing! Good salsas, good guacamole, good beans, good tortilla chips, home made flower tortillas. The staff is super nice and friendly! - I’m Méxican :) I have eaten here 5 times in 3 weeks lol! - *vegan tinga photo.

Food was decent. Staff was nice. Atmosphere was good. Just disappointed on the staff making a comment that we didn’t tip enough. I think 15% was sufficient.

Way Overrated ! The food was ok boarding on less than acceptable, but it was cheap hence the 3 stars and not 2. The water bottle placed on my table was dirty, total turn off and the wait staff, although very pleasant are not paying attention. I ordered the pulled pork and instead got shrimp. Which I didn't complain about because it was second choice....that was a mistake :/ they also didn't ask if I wanted anything to drink, I could have easily been convinced to get a margarita or a beer. Montreal has a lot of great restaurants, they need to up their game to really compete.

Keep returning to La Capital for those delicious tacos, order different tacos & quesadillas on rotation --- all of them are so good. You can tell the salsas are fresh. The flour tortillas are stars!! Go there mid-day, less crowed and usually when other good restaurants are closed for service around 2-5pm.

Go-to place for tacos in the area. It might be in Chinatown, but don’t be fooled. The tacos are delicious, the prices are affordable, the cocktails are great and the staff is super friendly. I’ve been several times for lunch and dinner and I have always had a good experience. However, please note that they do not take reservations!! Still 100% recommended!

Visited this place a few months back and i ordered my tacos to go and they tasted good. Finally came around again to try but this time i ate in. And wow. Even better when they are nice and hot. I ordered the potatoes with veneno. It is a nice spice but the flavoring is amazing good. Guacamole was nice and simple but still had a fresh flavor to it. I also ordered the pastor tacos and they where just amazing. I will come back for sure once im back in montreal.

A special Mexican place in Chinatown with tasty tacos and other delicious food. The decor and utensils are a combination of Mexican and Chinese styles. Very interesting There’s usually a line during meal time so make sure you plan enough time for it.

Went on a Tuesday and it was packed at 530, maybe cuz it was raining out.Super hipster but quaint, bare. They had the front garage door open so the entire facade is open which is cool.The food was okay, it wasn't horrible and it seems on a technical standpoint everything was there but it was missing something to make it excellent. The tables has 2 sauces, green is less hot more flavor, the orange one is spicy. Pretty cheap although if you're a big eater it may not be for you.

Ordered an evening meal. 6 tacos and a quesadilla. The portions of vegetables were mediocre. The quesadilla was dry and tasteless. The marinated onions were rotten! They smelled so bad, we couldnt even keep them on the table... not our first time ordering or eating tacos and I had to leave this review to avoid people making a mistake.
