L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolates

I always enjoy visiting this location.The staff are friendly and helpful and there are always attractive offers.The chocolate is fantastic quality - it just makes me want too much!

I'm so happy that L.A. Burdick has opened in Chicago! Everything is delicious and such high quality. Plus, they don't use any food coloring or flavoring or preservatives. My favorites are the chocolate mice, the hazelnut orange cake, and the milk hot chocolate.

Hot chocolate is excellent. Pastries fair. Mine was a little dry.

Romantic Dating Venue for all-ages! Open late. Everything is great here - desserts and drinks are made well.Impress that they have 3 choices for Gluten-Free desserts. HAZELNUT ORANGE CAKE was highly recommended that did NOT disappoint. Soft crumbly cake was encased in a hard chocolate shell. Heavy and Soft.MAISON PARISIENNE provides some of the desserts.Original Gifting Idea -- spicy hot chocolate at home! You don't need to go to Xoco anymore. Use whole milk and/or cream for a thick hot chocolate.

Amazing hot chocolate. Very rich and thick! They also offer some gluten free treats as well.

Excellent experience! Very nice and peaceful on Saturday afternoon. Chocolate croissant was delicious and so was white hot chocolate. Will be back for more!

This is such a cute little shop, and the chocolates are fantastic! A bit on the pricey end, but the chocolate is so rich and complex that it's worth it! Also a great place to get gifts of chocolates and cocoa powder.

There are definitely quality differences depends on the day. Normally the croissants are beautiful and delicious, especially during winter fall or spring. Unfortunately there were very very bad ones during the summer, when it was over 90 degrees. They shouldn't be selling those at $4 each when they are over proofed.Metered or free street parking, credit accepted, limited indoor and outdoor seating, pleasant quick service.
