The French onion soup lived up to the hype! Quiet neighborhood cafe with tasty bites.

I love it there. The food is delicious. I stopped there with a friend and we both had the soup special, which is salad, bread, soup, a glass of red or white wine, and a dessert. It was all delicious and tasted homemade.

One of my favorite restaurants in NYC!! Menu has a nice selection of soup, salads, sandwiches and more. Food is excellent as well as the service. Highly recommend!!

One of the best French Onion soups you can find. Everything else is I’ve tried has been delicious. This isn’t fancy, but welcoming and warm. A perfect place for a low key and tasty meal. They also have a good options for children.

We went here for New Year's Eve dinner before the countdown. We had booked a table upstairs and were delighted to find ourselves surrounded by French clientele... a sure sign we were in somewhere authentic. The food didn't disappoint. Get the cheese fondue, it's as good as everyone says. But the best part was the atmosphere. It was cozy and romantic and a lovely end to 2019.

Their French onion soup is the best! Servers are friendly. Space is very tight though.

Food exquisite. Love the frites, which are skinny and crispy. Ambience with dim lighting and background music romantic. Service attentive.

Nice French place just south from central park off 5th Avenue. Small and cozy. Servers attitude is typical New York, could be a bit more polite. Their onion soup is as good as they say and for its location it was really well priced. Give them a try!

Wonderful food and service. We both had the prix fix special, baked red snapper. It was well prepared and the scalloped potatoes were great. Chocolate mousse for dessert. Very reasonable price also.

Extremely yummy. I will say though that the French Onion had a bit too much cheese for my liking. There was definitely more cheese than onions in my soup but the little onions I did get were absolutely delicious as was the broth. I got the special tart (tomato and goat cheese) and it was fresh and delicious. I’ll come back again but I’ll probably order a different soup!

Have been coming here for years with my family and the food is always consistent and good. If you speak french they are extra nice and will always start a conversation with you. The soups are all delicious and it reminds me of being back in europe as the tables are intimate. The chocolate mousse is also worth a try!

Simple and sexy. Easily the BEST french onion soup I've had in my life. Service was polite and efficient and the house red was decent and worth the happy hour price tag. Nice chill ambience. I'm a fan.
