La Bagel Delight

I just went to La Bagel and had an awful experience. The cashier who rang me up had to take my order three times. After waiting more than 15 minutes, I finally got my 2 bacon egg and cheeses and 2 coffees. I asked if the bagels were what I ordered (they were not) and they had to go and remake it. After I got home I realized that they didn’t even put eggs on my sandwich even though I was charged full price for it. Absolutely terrible experience.

Quite high noise level, both bagel and lox spread left some to be desired. Overall good, but has definite room for improvement.

The first time I came in here I ordered a fresh oj and a bagel with veg cream cheese, the juice was ok but the cream cheese had no flavor 👎 The second time I order a fresh grapefruit juice and they blended the grapefruits as it was a smoothie, the staff didn’t let me know the juicer wasn’t working which got me disappointed. I also ordered a brownie and muffin both were given to me cold and tasted like fridge. Lastly I also order a bagel with butter, the bagel was plain but it tasted sweet I couldn’t taste the butter. I am definitely not giving this place a third chance. It is pricey for what they offer.

Love this spot, always fresh and warm and made to order the way I like.Small store big options.I especially love that they have Health-Ade kombucha now too

These ppl have never once given me what I asked for without some major mistake, it’s really ridiculous .. it’s like they just yes you and pick out what you end up getting.. GET IT TOGETHER & listen to the damn order

Place is ok. Check your orders as part of the ordered ingredients could be not there. The staff is very nice though.

I went there for lunch just a quick sandwich Togo . First off I stood there for 15 min without anyone greeting me. second of all while ordering the girl had horrible customer service, 3rd my chx cutlet sandwich on a roll came out to be 9$ when I asked why was it so much? they explained that for every topping it’s 50c. Now in a salad sure I get that but on a chx sandwich ? That’s crazy, are we supposed to eat it with just chx and bread ? 4th of all the sandwich itself was so bad, the chx cutlet was clearly very old and sitting out. I DO NOT recommend this place for a lunch spot at all ! Good luck if u choose it for breakfast !

Man serving is racist and rude

Been here twice, both times messed up my order. First time gave me the wrong cream cheese. Second time I asked where my food was and how much it cost, they said they’d let me know the cost when they rang me up. After waiting ten minutes, they told me they “lost my order”. Seems very disorganized.

Good local bagels and open during the pandemic! But there’s a cleanliness catch. There’s a sign on the door that in sum says “customers must wear a mask, otherwise don’t come in” great, then once inside I see a customer looking at water/juice with no mask, an employee walks by her says nothing. Okay, it’s on her maybe the guy was scared to tell someone to leave. Get on line and the CASHIER HAS NO MASK either. Crazy. So sad. Kinda mad honestly. Walked out because if that’s what’s happening where I can see it then behind the closed door to the kitchen there’s likely little to no social distancing, wearing masks and other PPE or measures to keep their staff and customers healthy. Not worth the risk to me but everyone has to make their own decisions. Posting to share what I saw, also these are their new hours if you wanna risk it.

A number one good bagels little coal in the place but good bagels good service

This is the best bagel shop in the neighborhood. Their bagels, sandwiches, and prepared foods are all quality and service is friendly.

If you’re looking for one of the most disorganized fast casual bagel spots in NYC, you’ve found it here. You have to go through two lines of equally as confused people, who aren’t sure whether they’ve ordered or are waiting I line, to finally order. Then you order. And you don’t pay- till later. they don’t take your name- and then kind of have to guess when your order is ready and then finally pay- it’s just the most inefficient system and there’s no excuse. Time to modernize. Also- their bagels are now tough. I’ve asked for double toasted and blond and tough is what I’ve gotten lately. Not as good as they used to be. I feel bad for the employees because they’re put in a difficult position and then have to navigate through irritated customers- thus they become irritated. I am a chef- cook- and restaurant person, and it pains me to see a place like this that has so much potential.

Impossibly slow during mornings, orders often incorrect or poorly executed. Food is not bad though and there are few other bagel options in the immediate area.Below is a lightly toasted egg bagel
