From out of town and decided to grab zome bahn mi. My wife loved the way they toast the bread and the softness of it. Great flavor and would definitely visit again.

This is what its about as a foodie... Finding an authentic place. The best banh mi ! Don't overlook it. A simple exterior and an interesting ( but neat and tidy interior ). There are only a few items on the menu, they do those few items right.

I don't want to sound uppity but I have had these Bahn Mi sandwhiches in many states and had a place in Chicago I truly feel I was addicted to. I moved here to Syracuse and went to every vietnamese and thai place I could find. I just love that kind of food. Well Ky Duyen done did it all right for me. AMAZING DELICIOUS FRESH. I cant say enough good things about them and the place is literally a "mom and pop" . When my friend and I went we were kindly greeted by both owners, offered to sit anyplace we like. A few minutes later the sweet old man came to deliver our sandwhiches and had such a proud look on his face, and he should have. Sounds of chopping veggies, grilling meat, etc. Basicly making sandwhich fit for kings.

Great Bahn mi - amazing price. The #3 is my favorite. If you're nervous to try it, don't be. Go in, hand em your $6 and be satisfied.

Just bahn mi sandwiches for lunch. Great French bread fresh and pickled veggies and spicy pork. This is not some precious bistro, so go for the delicious sandwich not the decor!

I cannot say very much about the ambiance of Ky Duyen Cafe, which is a Vietnamese shop on the north side. It's pretty much bare bones. Food is prepared at the counter or the kitchen, both of which are open to the public. You can order at the counter and then sit in one of several booths near the wall. There are also a couple of chairs in the middle of the dining room, although I am not sure of their purpose.

this is one of the few places that provide a unique dining experience in syracuse. even though, sadly, it's expanded its menu the original bahn mi is still amazing. they've done a lot to make the inside more dining friendly, i suppose, but i have loved reading there in every incarnation

Delicious Vietnamese sandwiches for very reasonable prices. A must visit for sandwich-lovers.
