Finally reached this place! Tried their drip coffee and it is on point. Perfect aroma and flavor notes. You can have a choice of beans to use. I actually enjoyed more watching my coffee being made. The barista is also very welcoming and helpful.

Amazing coffee, classy vibe, friendly English speaking baristas. You can choose from a selection of roasts. Cool Japanese coffee equipment for sale.

Perfectly coffee for the day. With a good decorations interior. In the same building with hotel upstairs.

After almost dying walking up and down mt Inari, all we wanted was a place to chill out and have a drink. We didn't want food though so restaurants were out of the equation. But Kurasu popped up on maps and I though "hell yeah, green tea. Sounds amazing" and it was amazing, it was absolutely delicious. 10/10 would drink again.

After a morning of hiking around the shrines, we made a stop at Kurasu per a recommendation from a friend. It’s located right by the train station tucked away from the main streets. Their soy matcha espresso latte was not only a welcomed treat and caffeine kick post sight seeing but also a superbly good coffee! Best we had in Japan so far.

Awesome matcha espresso latte and very good coffee beans (tried the El Salvador and Kenya)

We thought a five star coffee shop was impossible... but truly this is it. Had a matcha latte espresso which I’ve never even heard of before (delicious) and anko butter toast which didn’t spare on the butter. Friends had americanos and other toast toppings which were equally good. I repeat, FIVE STARS.

Excellent coffee. Wish we’d found this place sooner on our trip through Kyoto. Rivals Blue Bottle, Houndstooth, Ultimo, etc.
