Best Cuban place in EB

As an Irish kid from Jersey I can't speak to how authentic this food is but I can tell you that it's taste and quality are beyond reproach! We got 5 empanadas, all delicious. The pulled steak platter with; rice, beans and salad. This would have been enough food alone for both of us. And the "Fat Kuban" their version of a Rutgers style fat sandwich mixed with a cubano. The star of the show. All the food was excellently seasoned and the portions are huge. When in Jersey City or New Brunswick do yourself a favor and pick up something from this food truck. You won't be disappointed.

I love the Cuban sandwiches and empanadas from this place. Just wish they had more consistent hours and a better set-up. The food is delicious nonetheless. Deserves way more attention.

The chicken here is out of this world good. If you like chicken a lot then from that alone you should come here for food. I don't eat pork or beef much but im sure it's as good as the chicken too. So far I've gotten the sandwiches, plates, and empanadas and all of it has been made high quality every time. I would definitely recommend this food, it is very nourishing.

I just bought (it was a little after 10:00pm) the Ropa Vieja sandwich and it was amazing! The Chef/Owner was working and it was passed closing time, yet he was still happy to make the sandwich for me and an empanada for my girlfriend. The sandwich was cooked fresh, tasty, and BIG so the $11 price point was well worth the cost in my opinion. He was glad to tell us about the inspiration behind the menu which was his grandma. And even in a little detail like hot sauce he goes all out and makes his own which tastes unique and is very good. So if you see Kuba Cafe around New Brunswick definitely give it a try!
