My wife and I have eaten here twice both times carry out and even though they were busy we still don't have to wait real long for our food. Both times are eating experiences been delightful. The food was good and well seasoned and the portions were pretty adequate. We do however wish that the pork chops were a little bit meatier. Steel they were very enjoyable. I think we've had the smothered pork chops twice the next time we're going to go for the fried.

The food was made from scratch and had great flavors and seasonings! You also get a good portion and it's well worth the money, especially since the prices are so reasonable. I got 2 pancakes (large), smoked sausage, eggs & grits and only paid $11! It was so much that I couldn't eat it all but it was great for leftovers the next morning!

They have a good variety of soul food to pick from. I ordered The 2 meat platter fish and chicken greens corn cornbread and half and half lemonade fruit punch. The food was hot and fresh the greens were flavorful just needed another piece of cornbread instead of 1 piece. The half and Juice is so good and flavorful. The lines here are a little long but that depends on what time of the day you go.

Enjoyed the fish dinner I had. It was seasoned just right and crisp but juicy when bitten. When I visit the city again I surely will visit again. 😘😘🎂🎂 Best vday weekend ever.

I'm 26 and I've already lived here in Indy and never been. I wanted soul food to this is where I decided to go. I took my boys and everything came up to $35. I was satisfied when I left after my meal. I will be back i for to order some cobbler and I know it will be good.

A very nice and friendly at home family restaurant with the best soul food you ever wanna eat.... I ate chicken wings, greens, yams , fried corn, baked corn bread, and fried green tomatoes and lemonade to drink ❤👌👍👏😎 it was everything!!! And are server SHERRY WAS THE BEST WAITRESS EVER

Food was excellent and authentically southern! Staff was super friendly (Hi Sherry!) and prices were reasonable. Try the catfish, smothered chops, and mixed greens!

Ate here while I was in Indianapolis over the weekend and it was some of the best southern food I've ever had! My girlfriend and I both really enjoyed everything that we ate and all of the servers were very friendly. I had the roast beef plate and she had the fried pork chops. I'm usually not a big fan of tomatoes, but their fried green tomatoes were amazing. I would definitely recommend stopping by and getting some good home-cooked food if you are in the area.

Our meal was delicious and appetizing. Great home cook meal, lots of side choices, hard to choose. I had sweet potatoes, cabbage, fried green tomatoes, and macaroni and cheese, my friend had greens, whitning fish, and sweet potatoes, and all was good. The servers were very nice.
