Insanely terrible service. From the hostess on up. If I could leave zero stars I would. Don’t waste your time or money. But I doubt they’ll be in business long enough for it to even be an issue....

Ridiculous pricey!!! The come from Brazil thinking they can charge absurd prices!! And with horrible service and quality!? Soon soon will out of business like all Brazilian restaurant owners that have tried entering the market! Want fantastic sushi with fair price? Matsuri, Blue Ribbon, Azabu, Zuma, Umi Sushi..

Though portions at this Japanese fusion venue are presented as "tapas-style," they are generous, which makes sharing not only fun, but more filling than often expected. While seafood, sashiimi and sushi lovers are certain to love Kosushi's super fresh and creatively prepared offerings, the restaurant's ample selection of hot dishes and vegetables allow fish-abstainers as much freedom of choice as any other diners to dig into the menu with foodie abandon.I had the Naruto roll and it was like a party in my mouth. Highly recommended.

Was a dissappointing evening. The menu hardly has anything on it, 3 hot entrees. One was sea bass our friend ordered. It took an hour to come out, 30 minutes after everyone else entree, and it tasted like rubber. She had to send it back, and order something else. Some of their cold appetizers are good. The menu is lacking as is their alcohol selection. I get it that the liquor license isn't complete, but you have only one bottle of cabernet to pick from, and it was lame. I know they are new and want them to get going, but after reading the reviews by the local guides - the local guide review are completely inaccurate - I felt the Resturant needs to up it's game. And maybe get the waiter to pay attention more, since the tip is automatically added.

Super pricey for what you eat. They think it’s São Paulo where they can charge all they want, but in America the price is taken in consideration too. The portions are super small and the food is nothing to talk about. $500 bill and we left hungry. Miami has better Japanese places such as makoto, azabu and blue ribbon. Makoto has amazing price, quality and portion size.i have been to couple Michelin star restaurants alínea, le bernadin, Dom and some other is Europe and I think this restaurant should not be part of the Michelin guide. At least in São Paulo they are part of the Michelin guide.

I have to say I am so disappointed and underwhelmed with my experience. When we arrive, it takes a while to catch the waiters attention and then we start ordering. When I’m ordering there wasn’t at least 5 things available on the menu, which is fine except it took sometime to figure out what exactly I wanted. The first plate came out almost immediately which was great and then my friend ordered her. My food slowly trickled out but my friends food which was a simple sushi roll took an hour and a half to come out. The food was good but nothing to talk about. The staff were not attentive at all. Except the host, she was great and accommodating. So disappointed.

Stunning world class sushi finally arrives in South Beach. The sushi chefs create artistic miracles that surpass anything we have experienced in Miami. Hot dishes also were spectacular. The experience is topped off by a dining space that seems part of the Japanese craftsmanship.Great addition to South of Fifth and a new destination for Miami’s sushi lovers

Came to Kosushi tonight for dinner this is my second time here. Words cannot explain I’ve had the best experience while dining here. Service was impeccable, food was delicious. Amazing time here from the moment I entered the door I was greeted with a smile. The servers were all very attentive always made sure my water glass was filled, made sure to check up on my party the whole time. Could not have asked for a better time at Kosushi! It’s a must try!
