They are militant about wearing a mask in their business, so they missed the memo that the pandemic is over. Or they don't believe in vaccines. Either way, it ruined the experience of eating an average bagle.

Korshak bagels is the only bagel shop in Philly as far as I’m concerned. The crispy, crunchy exterior contrasts the marvelous doughy interior so well that I was angry I only ordered two. Everything is made in house. His poetry is inspiring! And all bagels are made from a sourdough starter called Hellen Mirren, lol. Phil Korshak is a culinary artist in a world otherwise obsessed with maximizing profits and trimming margins. The line is less than favorable however for all great things you must wait!

First timer here! And it Korshak did NOT disappoint! Super nice staff and very helpful. Went with a poppy, everything and pumpernickel along with a Lady Berry schmear…HOLY MOLY!!!! Next time I’m trying one of their sandwiches 😋😋😋

So... Their vegetable schmear is fire. That being said, their bagels are not your typical flavor. So, if you're looking for a "traditional" bagel, this probably isn't it. It's more like a really good sourdough... breakfast roll? Their korshak schmear is really good, but again, if you're going for cream cheese, just hit up a grocery store. Very unique flavors overall. Maybe the best day old bagel I've had!

The bagels are really good. However, the goat milk based cream cheese, while a novel idea, pretty much liquifies inside a hot bagel. 5/5 for flavor, 2/5 in practical application. Got get a higher fat content going in that cream cheese dawg to withstand the bagel heat. Also, was really excited to hear they added egg sandwiches to their menu, cause that's a breakfast staple and they're a block away from me. Unfortunately, it looks like they make batch egg patties, which are on par with what you would get at Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds. Homogenised yellow egg is never a good sign. Maybe they don't have a proper steam vent or something, but if they actually fried their eggs they'd have a solid brekky sandwich.

Don’t go here. They already sell out early enough (because they are amazing) and we don't need the competition

Tasty bagels and some of the best cream cheese I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

Easily one of the better bagels I have had. Unfortunately the hours are not very accessible and there is no online ordering so you have to wait in line for 30 minutes. Other than being inconvenient, it is not a bad place.

These are easily the best bagels I’ve ever had. No matter who I share them with, all I hear is rave reviews. Even people I know that say “iM fRoM nORTh JeRsEY, yOu DoN’t KnOw GoOd BaGeLs” admit that the bagels are great. Must try.

Well I’ll be damned. I’m a north Jersey native so I’ve been spoiled with great bagels and I’ve been in Philly for 3 years and haven’t found any good bagels until today. I think the customer service is what also sets them apart from others because it was top notch. Everyone just seems so happy to be working there. You can squeeze the bagels and hear the air coming out. Can’t wait to be back for more!

Be ready to wait in line! Also, these bagels are amazingly delicious and fresh every day. Here’s the deal: I HATE standing in lines. However, there are ways around this. My favorite for this place is going on a weekday during times many are at work. They may also have an order ahead option, b/c they do have a service window where you can pickup without going into the shop. Highly recommend utilizing the Too Good to Go app to get a nice selection of bagels without having to wait in line. For this bagel shop, you must have the experience at least once of getting the tour, because here is what happens: - you’ll be introduced to one of the staff, who will make themselves familiar with you by also asking your name (we also have had some that shared their pronouns with us, so 🫰! ) - your name is also important because they write it in the bag your order will go in - they walk you through all of the bagel choices of the day - they walk you through the schmear choices of the day - they are patient and help you make decisions and answer questions about the bagels and schmears - you’ll also be offered coffee, with room if you need it for cream - once your decision is made, you can wander further back to look at the vinyl collection (Jethro Tull was playing once when I was in there, though the owner offered that I could change it if I liked) - you will also see the bagels being made by the lovely mongers Be mindful that they are offering this level of service to every customer, and be grateful that you are able to receive that level of service when you do. It’s a gift, really, and creates some warmth and community. And, again, if you know what you want and don’t need to be given a tour, you can simply ask for it at the window or even in-store, I’m sure.
