Love the presentation and purple rice. This is by far my favourite sushi restaurant in the west end. Excellent summer patio and a regular go-to when hunger strikes.

Excellent and skillfully presented dishes! For 3 people we ordered the avocado salad, 2 assorted sashimi platters (36 pieces), 2 hand rolls and 2 special maki rolls and everything was delicious! The prices are pretty reasonable and even though the place is simple it has a pleasant atmosphere if you want to dine in. Would definitely be back!

Great selection of Japanese food, especially sushi. Very affordable! The platters and cups are super cute and the restaurant itself is quite quaint.

Very good sushi. Seaweed slightly too chewy for my liking

I absolutely love this place. Consistently awesome sushi. The purple rice is great, the service is lovely. I always get take out and it's made up pretty quick

Food is pretty good service was pretty terrible for a Japanese restaurant.

First time here, the decor is very Japanese themed, a little old and could use a good dusting as a lot of the Japanese decorations had dust bunnies on them. First impression was unfortunate as my small salad that came with the "sushi set" I ordered had some very old and brown lettuce leaves in it. Pulled it out and placed it aside on a napkin. The waitress, who was otherwise pleasant, quickly and blatantly reached and grabbed it into her hand as she was clearing the table. Nothing was said otherwise. The sushi itself was great! Will go back for a second chance, but will be weary and watchful of the freshness of the produce.

Serves one of the good if not great sushi in town.

Ordered their sushi and chicken fried rice, and they were delicious!

Very small place. Probably the best sushi place in Liberty village. The rice they used was nice. Had more of a healthy vibe than usual sushi places.

Good quality at a decent price. Seating is a bit cozy but tolerable for the good value.

Switched it up and got takeout from here instead of Kibo, really really happy I did. The rolls here are so large and very tasty.

Loved this Liberty Village Jem. I had dined alone here once before, but with company from out of town it was fantastic. The Black Cod was super delicious and the rice was lovely as well. I loved the personal detailing of serving the dish (as well as the Bulgogi) on a hot sizzling iron shovel. The seating is a little cramped and people were waiting for seats on a Sunday night, so it seemed a little rushed. The staff was very nice and polite. I look forward to returning.

Went in to this restaurant while wandering around town, got seated promptly and served water. The menu was good, lots of options, and we decided to try a couple rolls with entrees.First off, the presentation of all the food is top notch. I have been to a lot of sushi places, but very few take the effort to make sure everything is presented at this level. The taste for the entrees was excellent and the sushi itself was pretty good.Looking forward to going back to try more.

Ate at KOJA, staff friendly and let us sit near the sidewalk with out dog. Food was quick and as ordered. Prices are fair, rice servings were a little smaller than most. Fine spot if you're in a pinch and are in liberty village. Might come back again.
