Kobe Ninja House Japanese Grill

It started out looking like it would be a bad experience. The place was empty for a Saturday night and the hostess wanted to cram 5 people in a space for 4. When I mentioned that was very tight space, she had people already seated move. After we sat down, we found out one of the couples had been sitting there for 40min. They already had drinks & appetizers, but they had to wait until the table was full. (They were patient) once we were seated, we had to wait 15min to get our drinks ordered, so we made sure to put our full order in at that time. The other couple asked how much longer they had to wait and at that point everything picked up. Our waitress was very friendly & attentive and the chef was great and that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. I will say Kobe in Portland was much better. We went on a Friday night and there were 3 at our table. They did not make us wait for it to fill up.

Had a nice night out. The service was good. The waitress checked on us frequently and was very attentive. Our food was good. They took care to cook my steak correctly. The restaurant seemed clean and maintained. Only drawbacks to the experience were the restaurant being chilly, an employee smoking right outside the door as we walked out, and their happy song being sung three times in less than an hour.

Want to give 4 stars because they deserve it, and have had great experiences there. Unfortunately our last visit wasn't the best. We hosted our company Christmas party there and had potential new clients as well, we had called ahead for seating at the hibachi grill and arrived early to have cocktails. We were seated at hibachi shorty after our requested time, no problem. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 to 60 minutes after seating for a chef to be available for us. While waiting for chef the waitress made one appearance for drink orders, our second round of drinks we had to go back to bar to order. That being said the chef was very friendly and entertaining, the food was amazing (scallops were cooked perfectly!) and apart from the wait we had great time (yes, we landed the client) We recommend and won't hesitate to return in the future.

Sushi was fabulous. Came in late on a Sunday, but they still delivered some of the best sushi I've eaten. Octopus appetizer was perfect and the tempura lobster was amazing. I loved the different kinds of roe on the rolls. I'm actually glad they closed the hibachi early so I could crush some sushi and sake. Recommended

Very entertaining place. Kids will love hibachi because of the wonderfully cooked food just infront of them. Also try hibachi with more people always because there is huge amount of food. Good place for group chat celebration. The place is very nice and clean.
