Hearty hot bowl of rice with tasty beef tripe stewed in a stoneware. The fresh scallion refreshes every bite letting one enjoy every spoonful with pure makansutra pleasure

Ordered a Gyudon with egg and Horumon without the rice. Well worth the price I would say. Don't order the Horumon if you don't like guts as not everyone will like it, but if you're feeling adventurous, you will be rewarded.

I realized there are many local people in the long queue, so I also joined. Eventually the Gyudon is worth for the waiting time (15-20mins). I quite enjoyed!

Delicious gyudon. The line waiting for it was long but there are many standing areas to eat.

Unique place. Hormone done was delicious with oshinko(cucumber) and beer. Nikutofu (meat tofu) was also great.

The beef organ “Horumon†bowl is so delicious! The rich deep flavor goes so well with rice, and the green onions on top so refreshing and balancing out the richness. Tastes even better with a little bit of chili powder provided by the stall. The stall is very busy and you eat standing. However it is not too difficult to find a spot to put down your food. Stall owner is friendly.

This signature beef bowl rice (traditional beef stew served with Japanese rice) from this shop is not to be missed when you visit the Tsukiji Market in Tokyo. The finely sliced beef stew (with caramelised onions and gravy) was super tender and delicious..... this has been one of the highlights of our visit to Japan.

This place sells beef don (rice). There are a couple of options but the best is the plain beef don. We also ordered the beef with innards and that was slightly tasteless. Things to note:- They close fairly early- One of the ladies serving seems fairly grumpy and may not like you taking photos with her face shown- No english menu- Long lines but moves quite fast- Pretty much a street vendor so you may need to sit on some makeshift chairs and tables- One of the best beef dons we have had

Forget about the tourist trap sushi, grilled wagyu skewers etc. this should be the only reason to travel to Tsukiji outer market. This shop has been in the market since the early days, and truly a treasure.Order the stewed beef rice bowl with a side of beef innards and have the best beef bowl of your life. Deep rich flavor that will make you devour the entire bowl in minutes and wish you had room for more. Not recommended for big groups and those with luggage as it’s standing only. There’s also a sign that discourages sharing of food.

Be brave, join the queue and order yourself a bowl or two thereafter (the queue moves quite fast). Add an egg, it's a must. They truly frown on those sharing so don't! The flavours are in the broth so the more the better. I wouldn't order a beer to go with this because it taste best alone. Forget about eating slowly, just wallop it all in extempore. Come again the next morning and join the queue again. No regrets. If you think the standard has dropped, try some chain restaurant beef rice and then come back again for a simple comparison test.

Cheap and tasty. But not great. Worth a visit if you are nearby, but don't travel from afar. Queue is long but quick. You will need to stand and eat outside on the sidewalk.Note: you are not supposed to bring your suitcases with you to this, and the area around the market. Of course it doesn't stop tourists from Hong Kong.

Queue is quite short (around 5 mins). Went there around 9am on a Thursday. Got the number 2, food is good but nothing spectacular.

Nothing fancy but quite good. I waited in line for about 5min at 10am on Monday.

Very well known and popular beef don stand. I have had it a few years ago and really liked it. Unfortunately, this second try turned out not as so good. The owners seemed to be the same, but the flavors were not there. Something went missing. Now, it was just a bowl of rice with some salty beef intestines that have been way over cooked. Disappointing!

flavor was a bit mild for me.
