Forgot just how much I love eating at this place. If you go here for lunch you can I have three rolls for $13 with a soup or salad. Some of the freshest fish you’ll have for a good price

The place serves big portions and for reasonable prices. kind staff members. Highly recommended.

Horrible delivery person was nasty and broke our door after aggressively demanding a bigger tip. will never deal with these nasty people again I don’t care what the prices Not worth supporting bad people who don’t like customers

Good food but the service is BAD, the waitress barely said hi. I gave her my order and she rudely asked me salad or miso soup. She sort of slammed the receipt on the counter for me to sign. I decided not to tip. It got worse, she made me wait nearly 20 minutes without offering me a glass of water, I didn't even want to ask at this point. As my order finally arrived she just dropped the bag in front of me. Without even a glance in my direction, I told her good bye and no answer. The bento box was a delight, it's a shame for the service though. I understand you have problems ma'am, we all do, but please don't take it on the customers!!!

They have a wonderful seafood soup that I always eat when I have l lunch there. I used to live around the corner on 85th St., and I spent a lot of time there doing work after I ate. It was my home away from home. Now, I live in Ossining, and I go to Kitaro for lunch whenever I come into the city.

I was a regular client at kitaro for over six years. I ate there at least twice a week , some weeks every day. Today I went there I ordered food at around 4.30 pm. The sushi man as always nice and friendly. The waitress very rude. The restaurant was empty and she was screaming to someone over the phone by the back table.It was so loud and angry !!! It did not happen the first time. I came to eat there in piece so I asked her if she can lower the volume of her voice because it is really disturbing and not inviting. For which she answer " if you don't like it you can leave outside !! "Well what did I do? I asked the man not to make my food. I walked out and I will never go back. Food ok. Some of the stuff incredibly rude and obnoxious. Do nott recommend.

Awesome rolls and shumai. Not too expensive, as they have a couple of lunch specials and such.

Good food, reliably. I don't eat sushi, but it seems popular. I like the beef teriyaki or yaki udon.

One of our favorite sushi places for delivery. The spicy salmon tartar is delicious.

Next time, if there will be, do not charge me extra on the tip I already left!!Lunch special is good pricing. Sushi wasn't bad.

Neat, quite and calm place to have a decent meal. Food (we had variety of Sushi and sashimi) was good and satisfying. Not over the top, hence the rating. Serving staff were pleasant.

I go there with my girlfriend every week. I tell her this is New York City and there's plenty of options everywhere and she demands we go there. Fellas, you know it's a good idea to keep your woman happy. Am I right? This applies to my fellas on fellas and ladies on ladies too. Everyone loves sushi and if you do, give this place a chance. It's good!
