This place is truly a hidden gem. Been in Japan for 2 full weeks and had sushi maybe 12 times. Kinka is top of the list. For the price the quality is insane. Now, this is very important, you MUST try the Aburi salmon sushi. Also if you like uni they will give you a VERY generous portion served on rice on a spoon (without nori like this is my favorite). Went for both a late lunch (2pm) and early dinner (6:30) and was able to sit at the counter no problem. It will get packed so if you’re going at a prime time I might snag a reservation. Is it ‘westernized’? Yea I think so but if you would like an outstanding safe/clean/DELICIOUS sushi meal then go here. Do it.

An excellent place for some trendy sushi with interesting flavors, while still maintaining the expectations of a sushi restaurant. We went for lunch (opens at 11:30am) and were the first seated, but the restaurant quickly filled up with the weekday lunch crowd. The lunch sets all looked great, and we both went for the "smalled sets", ranging from 1000-1200 yen each. We were both full and satisfied, and plan on coming back for lunch, or maybe even dinner. We had previously tried their food via UberEats, and was impressed with the flavor, presentation, and how well the food held up, even with delivery.

Close to the Nationa Art Gallery in Roppongi, this place has a lovely atmosphere. The dashi-maki Tamago (rolled egg) was absolutely delicious and we loved all the aburi zushi we tried. Kids seem to be allowed here! Has an elevator & both counter & table seats!
