Good place for a pint with your fish and chips. Daily variety of curry dishes too. Local place, not tourist driven.

We were there at about 3 in the afternoon, just a couple other patrons. Service was excellent. The food fantastic. We had the steak and kidney pie and the cottage pie. It was a cold and rainy afternoon so the food really hit the spot. For dessert we had the Sticky Toffee Pudding Ginger sponge with ice cream. It was so so good. This place is closed Monday and Tuesday.

Very nice spot felt like I was in england again. It has this old time classic look and comfort to it, lots of photos of the queen and British flags, great small selection of beers . Sat by the fire and had a black and tan made with bass which has been hard to find around here . Also ate their cottage pie and it was amazing, their side of bread was warm, fresh and soft. The bf got their beef and kidney pie which sounds gross but he loved it and a side of wedge fries or he would said chips lol.

It's just like sitting in a authentic English pub. All decorations reminded you of England. Food was delicious. Really enjoyed ourselves. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Good food here and good atmosphere. I will have to go back and try some more stuff, and sit in. Fish sandwich I got was great, it just almost had too much bread on it. Great flavor though.

Fish and Chips as well as Chicken and Mushroom Pie were amazing. Huge portions. All in the family were impressed with our first visit and we will be back.

Always a wonderful experience, every inch of walls and ceiling covered with English items as well as flags of the world. Always fresh Guinness stout on tap. Unfortunately they were out of mushie peas a must have english culinary experience that is unlike Americans peas. This was my 5th or 6th visit. They have always been good, but on this occasion I had the best chicken vindaloo. The owner and chef offered to make it for me after I asked the server if she could make the curry of the night (Tika Masala) with more heat. I then got a extremely well prepared extra spicy Chicken Vindaloo. Extra spicy compared to America standers anyway. Good service, amazing food, fresh beer. What the heck else could you ask for?? Well actually you could ask for mushey peas and an extra dry martini. They don't offer hard alcohol, just beer and wine and as I mentioned were out of mushy peas. But I still say 5 stars.

Good atmosphere and good (almost) English food

Nice place with a semi-authentic feel of a British pub. It's a bit pricey but the steak & kidney pie did taste great, however, the advertised "authentic British banger/sausage" was a huge let down. It is not imported, instead made in Florida and was far more like a bland Italian sausage; with that super firm texture. Probably a better place to go have an ale, snakebite, shandy etc. minus the food and enjoy the drinking experience of 'a British pub'.

Just the quaintest and most charming place in uptown. Really delicious English food!

Good stuff! Neat and welcoming atmosphere, good eats, good beer menu and fair prices. Highly recommended.
