What am I supposed to say? Come hungry, lave happy? Well yes, that is my feeling. I continue to visit The Local Place because I like their food. Plus they have a cool soda machine.I've had almost everything in the menu and I do believe I like everything. I also like how I get a number and somebody delivers my order to my table. The Tuna sandwich is good, a bit plain, but it is good. The fries are not that good. They smell like fish, but if you put some ketchup on them you'll eat them, oh you will eat them fries.

Get the French toast. It has kind of a coconut flavor and the inside was slightly moist in a good way. The outside was crunchy. My mouth is watering now just thinking about it

Authentic loco moco and the pineapple muffins are to die for. Finish it off with a dole whip and your day is complete

I'm usually not a fan of beef stew, but the one here is great. It's almost like a chili and i love chili. Definitely want to come back for it again. They also have baked goods which are excellent. Really can't go wrong here with the Hawaiian selections.

Always a first stop when returning to Southern California. Some great bakery selections fresh from the oven and tasty Hawaiian faves and fusions.

An unexpected find. This smaller Kings Hawaiian restaurant is located right next door to the main bakery than makes their famous bread. They have everything from baked goods and cakes to full breakfast, lunch and dinners. They even have Done Whip! You gotta try that. Located one block north of the 405 Frwy on Western. To go or dine in. Patio seating also available. The service is excellent and friendly!
