Jumbo shrimp is awesome , I saw Chicago best seafood and visited this place. Neighborhood looks not so safe. But food is great .

This was my first time visiting here after seeing it advertised on channel 9 . Restaurant is a shack style with 2 picnic seating tables.I ordered a large shrimp which came with fries. It looked beautifully fried ! (12 jumbo shrimp for $20) about 20 minutes later I opened the bag and started eating and the shrimp were flavorful and good , clean, not greasy, but honestly the breading was a little too hard and it was falling away from the shrimp. I will try them again at a later date .

Man yes it’s a small shack but this lady has flavor, and I’m stuck on the jack salmon it can feed 4 ppl maybe even for and it’s delicious !😋 the owner is very nice I only have nothin but good to say about 👑 ðŸŸ

Wings are cooked in a different batter simply delicious.Shrimp,very good reminds me of the shrimp boat back in the day the fish is awesome also it's been in the same location with the same owners and a couple of employees since 1987.

This place serves the most amazing fried fish and shrimp in Chicago. It’s straight up hood. Meaning be prepared to place your order through plexiglass and wait in a small cramped space with no air-conditioning for your food. Once you get it though, it makes up for all of it!

The best shrimp and catfish I’ve ever had. All hands down they are freaking good. Service was fast and food just delicious. I was so happy. Just hoping it’s this good all the time. It should be on the map for fried seafood. Period
