We just checked out the Taproom. What a cool vibe! Down in the basement with exposed beams, rich woods and colors. Something I haven't seen before - a beer color chart. A must stop!

Excellent food and craft beer. It's a little more expensive than other restaurants in the area - but it's flat out quality. You'd be hard pressed to find better food and beer locally.Staff is well informed, friendly, and attentive. Best burger in town!

Had the opportunity to visit this hidden gem in St. J on my way up to Jay peak. This place oozed of dark cozy comfort from the decor to the food and beer. The chandelier on the stairs down to the restaurant was gorgeous. The food was first class. I started with the cheese plate that was so tasty but not filling. The brisket sandwich did fill me up and left me with such a content feeling. Hill Farmstead on tap made the experience that much more special. You will not be disappointed if you visit this place! Thank you!

Nice new place in St-J (April 2019) Opened up this past year, trendy fusion menu with local brews. Pricing is middle of the road. Good purple potato cake on the menu that night, although there was raw garlic in the sauteed Swiss chard. If you are not all that much into garlic, you may want to inquire before ordering to avoid surprises. Appetizing dessert list. We'll be back!

If you are around this area, you would be doing yourself a diservice if you don't stop by. One of the most relaxed atmosphere with the best food around. All is fresh and delicious. Service is A+. Excellent local beer selection but also beer from around the world! Casual and amazing!

Absolutely delicious! Very trendy and modern decor and menu. They cater to food allergies and vegan/vegetarian lifestyles. The Ancient Grains Bowl and Veggie Burger were AMAZING! And the staff were absolutely fabulous!

Kingdom Taproom has a nice selection of local brews. With great food and nice service it’s definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area. I recommend getting the fresh baked bread to start, and the creme brûlée to finish. The restaurant is on the lower level of a building so there isn’t any windows so it can be a little dark in here. Overall great place to stop!

We stopped at the Kingdom Table (not the Tap Room, which is downstairs) on a road trip. Just to put the review in perspective, this is a nice restaurant, not a roadside dive. Dress is informal. My wife had a burger which was excellent. It came with fries (which she shared with me :-)). She asked for gravy, which they happily brought her, and it was amazing. This was a large, hand formed burger. Very nice.I had Cream of Carrot Ginger soup and Bao Buns (an appetizer) as my meal. The soup was light (no flour here) and very good. The buns were delicious.Coffee was fine, too. After our meal, they successfully tempted me with an apple bread pudding (I have a soft spot for that kind of thing). It was good too.Our server was friendly and professional, the decor is nice, and the music tasteful. All in all, an excellent experience!

Fantastic food, service, and environment. Jalapeno Margarita and steak tacos were amazing! Highly recommend this gem, never would have thought an upscale place would exist in St Johnsbury!

This is a great local restaurant. The upstairs is slightly fancier food while the downstairs is a bit more of a pub feel. Both are great. The service is attentive and the food is delicious. They are great about accommodating GF as well.

The food here was incredible. Very friendly staff. Amazing, local, and unique beer selection. The table salad is big enough for 2 or 3 people as a starter.
