Old school bar with legendary bar pie. This is what Star Tavern is supposed to be. Hard to find a better bar pie in Jersey. ProTip: get the fra diavolo base on the pies. CASH ONLY (atm on site). Bonus points for all the cool model trains.

I love this place. For the best, cracker thin pizza, Kinchley’s is the place to go. The rustic environment and non commercialization gives it an authentic feel. “They don’t make them like this anymore.” One of the bartenders even hand paints all the restaurants signage. We’ll be back soon to this true gem! Bring cash because they don’t accept plastic which is the only bummer. They should really consider adding pineapple as a pizza topping. It’s yummy.
