The Senbu Kannon Bodhisattva, the secret Buddha for the first time in 50 years, was beautiful, and the 11-sided Kannon Bodhisattva was cute. The big Bodhisattva in the Shinbutsuden was also nice, and the view (sea) from the third floor is also great if the weather is good. It doesn't matter if the stairs rise slowly. (62 years old) Enma Daio at the entrance was also good.

This is a perfect place to visit during Spring during the season of cherry blossoms . Sadly I got to visit it during winter but still it is very beautiful.

Both are monks from Tang, but they were different people, as they were opened in 770 in Matsui-dera and 708 in Matsuo-dera.
