Love the vibe even though it can get loud. One of the best grilled cheese I had. Grilled sandwiches and salads are really nice. Vietnamese rolls are great (they often sold out pretty early though). It's on the bike path at a great stroll distance from Davis Sq/Alewife.4 stars because I'm not a big fan of their pastry department.

The staff is friendly. They have some of the best muffins I have ever had. I really enjoy the pistachio muffins.

This place is alive and kicking, and you can tell by the sheer numbers congregating here for either a quick coffee, a small bite or a longer stop with their laptops. It is the go-to-place for bikers along the minuteman trail and locals alike!

It's a cute little shop! I was here for a storytelling event with a friend and we had a really good time! At first, I got a mint limeade but it tasted kinda gross so I got a lemonade and that was good. I didn't get any good but from looking at the menu board, there were a lot of options! The bathroom was a lot different than I thought it was, there's a door (which I thought was just the bathroom) but it is the entrance to a women'ss room and a men's room, I'm stupid. Good place over all, but I did see a mouse and it kinda freaked me out. But I suggest going here with a couple of friends for one of these storytelling events!

Great cafe, centrally located in Arlington. Good spot to stop before, after or during your rides and runs as it connects directly to Minuteman Bike Path.

Outstanding coffee and muffin on my first visit. very reasonable prices. A nice vibe, with a diverse mix of older and younger clients. Unlike Starbucks, they let you choose dark, medium or light roast coffee. The light roast I selected was freshly brewed and nicely aromatic. The bran muffin was tasty and moist - also nice and fresh. There are also sandwiches, soups and salads on the menu board. Unlike the silly Google Maps description, this place is nothing like Tim Hortons, which is a standard chain operation. Kickstand is everything you love about a great independent coffee shop: friendly, helpful staff, reasonable prices and a big selection of great stuff to eat and drink.I’ve been going to the nearby Starbucks for years, and it’s pretty good, but I could slap my forehead for not having tried the Kickstand Café before

It was really busy when we got to the cafe, but we were able to get a table after a few minutes of waiting. I had a gluten free blueberry oat bread and a matcha latte and it was delicious. The cafe is located next to the Minuteman bike trail, and if the day was a little warmer I would've taken my tea to go and enjoy the trail.

Great little place to stop though on your way down the Minute Man or sit for a bit of work or your laptop. Lots of pastries, a few breakfast items, a few salads, and a few sandwiches and soups. Lots of drinks. They also have a shelf full of games and live music the first Friday of the month.

Questions & Answers

You'd probably have to speak with someone at the store directly. Maybe call to see if you can read the number over the phone to verify the balance.

They have sweet treats but not ice cream.
