Ken’s sushi is defiantly hands down the best sushi you can get in Waterloo. Just look at the lineups every night and you’ll see it’s a very popular place. Prices are average, but the quality is great. Their sashimi cut is relatively large and very fresh. Wish the place is a bit bigger since it’s always so busy, but it’s quite cozy.

Should be 6 stars. Ken and his staff are lovely people who make you feel at home. Their food is always super fresh and never dissapoints. Go here!

Very good sushi place. It is not an all-you-can-eat place. Their food is high quality. Totally recommend the sea urchin (comes with gold on it too). They run out of it pretty fast so they might not have it all the time.Food is really fresh and the owner is really friendly and fun.They offer a lot of food options, and the plates are large sizes. A dinner plate can last for 2 meals.

Amazingly comprehensive menu, great service, and the food is awesome. Some great vegetarian options as well! This was my second visit and I will definitely be back.

The ingredients in the sushi are very frest and you can taste the difference. The roll sizes are larger than I have seen at other places and the tempura was light and crispy without being greasy! Will definitely go again.

Best sushi place in KW! Owner and staff are so friendly and nice, atmosphere is great, seating is spacious and even when its very busy (as Ken's does get) you can get seated pretty quickly and comfortably. Food is incredible, it's almost indescribable. Fish is fresh, sushi is immaculately crafted, veggie and vegan options are available. Perfect for a family of picky eaters. If you eat once, you come back for sure!

Best sushi place in town! Vegetables and shrimp tempura are very fresh, good beer selection, great rolls (we tried the Green Dragon and Snow White, both great ). Parking upstairs is free for 2 hours. No reservations, be ready to wait for a table. Happy and very kind servers. Highly recommend!

This place is fantastic! Go when you aren't hungry so you can sample dishes without breaking the bank but it is worth the price.Also: the only sushi place I have been where it isn't awkward to go by yourself.

The food here is AMAZING!The staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful. My friend and I shared the sashimi, salad (amazing dressing), Scallop Island Roll and the Snow White Roll. The sauces were so good, we were taking the rice and scooping up the leftover sauce with it. I will be back there again for sure!

I've been hunting for great sushi house in the Kitchener-Waterloo are and I think I've found it. The fish is super fresh and they are not stingy on the meat in the rolls. The quality is high and presentation is top notch. Awesome atmosphere, super quick and friendly service as well. I'm definitely going back. Enjoy!!!

Finally got to try this place! Sushi is all-around fairly good. The rolls are especially big and there's lots of variety. It's a little expensive though. Service was very, very good! Even though it was pretty busy and only 2 waitresses for the whole restaurant, things were brought quickly!

Fantastic sushi! Great atmosphere and great food. I love spicy sushi and theirs is to die for! They have a Russian Roulette that I highly recommend everyone tries if they are into spicy sushi. I live in Toronto and come to Waterloo for this sushi because it's so tasty!
